“Nobody travels to Israel these days.”
That’s what we were told.
And as it turns out…that was true.
Most parts of the culturally rich country have not seen foreign travelers since the terrorist attacks of October 7th, 2023.
The Israelis, Palestinians, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Christians and all other image bearers of God are hurting both financially from the lack of tourism and emotionally from the apparent hate across ethic divides.
That’s why we came- to experience the rich history of the Holy Land and send a message to all people throughout Israel and the West Bank: You are not forgotten. You are greatly loved.

About this channel: We are the Smith's. A Christian family of 6, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, an author and former country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln, River (who we lost when he was 3yrs old) and Maverick.
Thank you for this experience! We were scheduled to travel to Israel on October 9, 2023. We were thankful for our safety but so disappointed. We had studied and prepared for over a year. The Lord willing, we will visit soon. We hold Israel in our hearts and prayers.

How beautiful and emotional I can’t help crying .I often think about how hard Jesus worked to get people to know and believe in his Father. I also think of the pain he endured for us and his death ! I think of his Mother following him and seeing what they were doing to him and I cry and say “ How did she survive after seeing her beautiful son go through that torture “. Thank You Granger and Amber and may God keep you safe on you journey! ❤️🙏🏻

For me seeing the two of you spending heart moving moments together is amazing along the journey. The awesome part of this is the removal of satan that took place. Thank you brother for sharing your epic adventure, back in 2018, i also went to Israel looking for what I wasn't sure. In 2013 my 24 year old son was called home to be with the Lord, he lived for 12 days, he pass on 2:22 p.m. on my mother's birthday from injuries that he suffered in a car accident, in all the things that you said,I said the same , I would not let my son memory be a dishonor and I would honor him, I would not get a divorce, I would not let his other two brothers go a stay, I don't understand it all , as the enemy keep repeating how could your God allow this, but I keep on trusting, one day I will see him again as you will see your son River again, love your music love who you are and love your testimony if you go to Israel again maybe next year do a tour, I'll be the cowboy from Texas that will be among those . i pray God's blessings and mercy on you and your family, Psalms 91 a hedge of protection .
The cafe owner was so pleased to have customers. I feel so sad for the people of Israel who rely on tourism for their living

My dad was blessed to go to Israel for archeologist trip.He was there for about 3 months. This was in the 80’s. I got to see so many photos of places these days are gone due to wars. Black olives are considered bad and he got them swatted out of his hand Hope you had fun. Thank you for sharing your trip. I hope my dad is able to go back again.

Exactly one year before your trip (Feb 20-28, 2023), I went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and visited many of the same places you are seeing. I love visiting them again through your eyes. So sad about the emptiness of each holy site. I wish we had climbed the mountain overlooking the Sea of Galilee. We did visit the Valley of the Doves below it and actually stayed in the Magdala hotel down below the mountain overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Looking forward to re-visiting more sites.
