That sound the tam made at 4:53 the end was definitely the best accidental sound I have ever heard
I got to play this back in 1998 or so. This was very surgical and precise, everything in its place and wonderful recording work! Just one thing: I wish the tenor drum was a LOT lower. I was made to understand that was the sound of the evil summoned had arrived, and is banging on the door. I want BANG BANG BANG, rude and interrupting. gimme a 18" tenor/floor tom with a calfskin head, BOOM BOOM. anyway, thank you so much for sharing this, great memories.
Memories of 9th grade in '97 and botching the log drum solo :x
Great rendition!

That was cool. I loved it. But, it’s gotta have more cowbell.

Why is this performed with conductor?
I will play this every morning as I enter the commode. Respectfully.
Me fascina que haya toques afroperuanos en el ensamble de Berklee.
