I've seen him play on his own on some songs that have made me change my mind and have showcased just how good he really is. I sometimes think he tends to be careful to not overshadow her which is not saying she doesn't play as well. I think he very courteously gives her space. She's one of the top 5 women in boogie woogie and in my opinion has the best left hand of them all. Clearly she's a very disciplined player and that's very easy to see. Regardless, both are excellent in their own right and together they're magic.
