- Speaking to Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer, former Reform UK deputy leader Ben Habib hits out at "globalist" Keir Starmer after 703 migrants crossed the Channel in a single day.
It comes as two people died in French waters while trying to cross the Channel, with others on board the boat understood to have been rescued and taken back to France.
"Any individual who wants to be governed by a third power and is prepared to take the UK's borders down is anti-British," Ben adds.

The Home Secretary, her first act should have been to close The Border to those arriving by small boat and backs of lorries. Arrive here illegally, returned immediately, no if's of buts, deported. That would stop arrivals, closed down the criminal gangs supply chain, as no migrant is going to pay a trafficker upwards of £15,000 if they know they won't gain entry to The UK. This would save billions, money for pensioners, services and pay rises. Yet, strangely enough, they're still allowed entry.

Labour in power for approx 5 years equates to a figure in between 3 1/2 to 4 million migrants coming to this country (say 700,000 per year via visas etc and 40,000 per year via the channel and in the back of lorries).
