Ah man, this year is my upgrade circle but I am so mad about the fragile aluminium on the 17 pro. My 15 pro looks like day one. If the aluminium won’t get stronger i think this will be a dealbreaker for me.
That camera control button would make a great finger print scan button to unlock the phone, or even an awesome volume swipe toggle while watching videos.
I really hope that the Apple logo on the back will be recentered in the middle of the MagSafe circle on the back of the iPhone... Because many cases with the MagSafe circle on the back is cutting off the new position of the Apple logo

9:00 if they didn't learn anything from the Vision Pro's pricing and sales numbers, the fold will suffer the same fate. If not enough people can afford it, folding phones will remain a niche like it's been since they came out. The crease isn't what's stopping the market from mass adopting foldables, it's the price. People already have a hard enough time justifying the $1000 flagships.

Camera control button needs to shift towards the corner more. It’s just a tad bit too far to naturally have your finger go to when you rotate phone to take a landscape photo
Idk how to feel about the iPad mini and the wide and short screen of the iPhone fold on one hand sure I guess better for RUclips but also the wide passport style ratio is just wierd

Anyone curious how much more efficient the new A20 chip is it will run at an estimate of 30% less power at the same processing capability as the a19 meaning easily that 18 air if there will be one could easily have the same computational power as 17 Pro Max I’m willing to wait two years for a phone if this is the kind of jumps we get
I’ve been wanting the iPhone fold since the iPad Mini first came out. I am SUPER happy they did not do a clam shell, flip phone design. I cannot wait until they release this

You can disable it in the settings, making the button non functional

When open, it’s 1.41:1, which is in the middle between 4:3 and 3:2
While closed, it almost 3:2

They can just keep the slide function on camera and have it enabled or disabled in settings… i actually use the slide function on my 16 pro max.
