- This song is from the Rejoice Africa Album (Worship led by Lionel Petersen) Recorded in 1992 in South Africa with Integrity Music. The song is one of my favourite songs of all time. The music and the words of the song are SO moving and powerful!
I love the orchestration (Tom Brooks is really blessed - l love the music @ 1:52). I wonder why worship music today doesn't have this feel, I know this is classed by most as old school. But I think it's so annointed!
Also I wonder why many christians don't even know these songs. I don't think I have heard anyone sing these songs.
In my opinion this is a true CLASSIC

Behold the Lamb with Bev Turner is the most powerfully emotional song I have ever heard. It deserves a high quality remake by a great orchestra and choir. Also did you notice that there is no "I" or "me" in the words. It's all about the glory of Jesus. For me this song brings down the Glory. Amen

I was there there at Rhema Johannesburg in the 1980"s after i came out of the army, often my eyes were filled with tears as the Lord would bring healing to my soul.
Last heard it over 25years ago. One of the songs my Dad would play routinely every morning. Little me not knowing or learning the lyrics, but it registered in my spirit. Today I woke up with the song playing in my spirit. A subtle reminder of the Lord's coming.

Randomly started singing this today. Bright back memories of my childhood but most importantly reminded me of God’s grandeur and faithfulness in my life!

I listened to this song way back, when I gave my life to the Lord, 20 yrs ago, Each time I would listen to it, I would cry, thinking if the Lord came today, I would be left behind. Oh how I love my Jesus!! to this very day.

It's 12th Feb 2023 and my heart races as I listen to this song once again. And as I looked at the video, I can't help but say to myself that for most of them, the lamb already returned. And for us, it's closer now that before. The lamb returns upon a white horse. Praise the lord

It's Carl Albrecht. He seems to pop up at every revival! This one in South Africa (93), then with Lindell Cooley at Pensecola (96), and with Roy Fields at Lakeland(08) . Presently touring with the paul Baloche band.
I thought that was him too and his beautiful wife Leann is there also just discovering this couple what a gift to the body of Christ the integrity family are God continues to bless everyone including Brother Peterson even though he went home to be with the Lord we love you Integrity family.

@mrjoeunit - The organisation that put this together (Integrity Music) still operate. At the time, they used to bring people together from different churches, etc, for each event but with some regular musicians and worship leaders (every two months or so I think). I don't know if they still do that but they still produce, publish and distribute Christian music and related materials.
Pure worship that takes you to the THRONE of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, in pure AWE and REVERENCE of Him who sits on the THRONE! You can't go wrong with this!
