Actually, you're totally wrong, I served in the Navy SEALS for one hundred and fifty years and was one of the founding members of Fox Hound and to properly open a door during CQB you need to climb on top of the door and open it, that removes the necessity to move with the door to get cover and also gives you height advantage
I was a Master Gunnery Corporal in the Space Marines. We curl up in a sonic-ball and roll straight through the door.

Close combat in general is a fast way to see heaven. He did the right thing getting out of that doorway and at least is concealed again. Sitting in a doorway or hallway for too long is one of the dumbest things anyone could do.
I used to do breach an clear CQB training with my dad as a kid. He taught me what to do, and would hide in places to catch me off guard until I could do it properly. I'm not gonna say bro is wrong right here, but he's not doing solo CQB clearing right. He's got position coverage correct if you've got points on a team behind you. Solo is different rules, you wanna get away from that door cause the first thing someone on the other side will do is start shooting at it or wait until they see the smallest peak of a barrel. Open it at full extended arms reach, back away from the door and listen, sweep the visible corners or walls from your position of cover. Push and sweep, wait and listen, push and sweep, wait and listen, repeat that cycle until all clear. If contact is made, eliminate contact, retreat to cleared cover, listen and eliminate any further contact with patient prejudice.

Is the difference between the first and last one just the crouch position? What makes one right and the other wrong?
He follows the movement of the door so his body is less visible (i think)
I think that the crouch position would be highly visible to the enemy seeing as his body was somewhat perpendicular to the corridor beyond, whereas the last position his body sticks close to the wall making him harder to see for the enemies in the corridor beyond(?)
I am also not quite sure what the real difference is though.
@@iamhappy2151私もよくわからなかったが貴方のおかげで分かった。ありがとう兄弟
He is more flexible and not stuck to a position he can move quicker basically
That's what I was thinking because it's the exact same movement exact same process. But yet one is deemed incorrect in the other is deemed correct? Honestly if someone is standing down the hall further down then the way he moves in the second method isn't going to allow him to see them anyways. But they will obviously know he's there because the door just magically opened by itself...
This all works until PKM round start pinging through the door and the wall as you’re stacked on the wall. Good reps though.

Stay to the farthest part of the door handle on the right side, swing it open, as it opens clear the parts that are visible as you wide swing as the doors swinging, best outcome to come from this and you also can see more the wider angle you have, little tip incase you didn’t know
Bad idea as you have no cover in the right side. They will shoot as soon as you reveal your position with the door.
I agree this is the best way but once you open the door you need to step backwards while clearing areas you see.
This would give you a lot of options on whether to push and follow up with a non lethal or lethal explosive to clear the room or move out of the way.
Standing in front of an opened doorway is a good way to get yourself killed specially against 2 or more trained combatants with unknown varying types of gear and guns in the next room.

Bullets can still pass through a wooden door, right?
Yeah
Real bullets yeah, but an airsoft bb can't. And most of these tactics won't work as well as you think they would. You would get shot at by like a thousand times before you can even spot your enemy.
These tactics are normally instructed for the most optimal entry, point man has to get that door open and enter in the end, so they would try their best to stay out of the door only except when they breach...
No man trust me, hiding behind a door will protect you against bullets because wood is stronger

Play door kickers. It actually improved my "CQB" in airsoft. Won't replace actual training but it's still a great way to get the basics down.
Lmao in airsoft. That door would get shredded in real life.
I like how both ways present perfect targets.
Cqb в реальных условиях - закидывание гранат
И прострелы сквозь двери.
Problem: if enemies half or fully expect you they know to shoot the first living thing they see past that door (Wether airsoft or not) and if you happen to not be in cover, you know what happens next..
Solution: Use door as cover (not as effective in real combat given it's a wooden door but at that point you're either using a shield or already swiss cheese) this basically doesn't make you look like a big target on the door ready to be shot at.. And if the enemy happens to fire back you have less of a chance to get shot (again not as effective in real combat)..
Better solution: Use anything as cover. Drawers, sheilds, meat shields, the door, a.. Peice of wood.. Basically anything that blocks bbs (you'd die if its against rifle rounds) use that to cover your body and you get hit less
Also move more, do not be a standing target.
I am not a cqb expert *do not take my words for granted*
Looks good and feels good in theory/practice,
good luck applying it in an actual combat scenario.

Everyone on here assumes that they are staring at the door, guns, flashbangs, and grenades that they don't own, can't own in about 90% of the cases ready for someone to swing a door in a home they don't know. If the application is in your own home, the worst case scenario isn't a super soldier with a rocket launcher and 2 m60s, it's probably going to be a teenager to young adult with a handgun or at worst a shotgun, just trying to steal something.
Edit: I'm not saying it's correct the way he did it, just saying that there’s some ridiculous comments, there’s never one scenario that fits all cases. SLLS can be a double edged sword in a acoustic environment like this. Besides all of that i appreciate everyone that I've served with and those continuing to serve.

❌ Approach the door from the side it should open to and pull the handle with a cat hook ❌
Author, from the other side of the world, what's it like, is there a god or not?
Opening the door while crouching is totally viable. Matter if fact it is recommended when re-peeking an angle (never re-peek an angle unless you HAVE to) to crouch and re-peek as it minimalised exposure and is unexpected for the enemy
we all know, this works only without opponents,as the door opens 1mm I notice and you get blasted with a mag, or two

Тем более если брать процесс открывания дверей туда сразу будет открываться огонь закидываться гранатами пули 5.45 и 5.56 рикошетят к тому же, да и стойка для стрельбы у мужика не правильная к тому же... One thing your dealing with actual soilders. They are more afraid to die then you think the moment that door opens they will rapid fire through the walls until you are screaming.
How to cqb:
" *CLUSTER CHARGE GOIN' UP!!* "
‘Flash bang through the door, Hit the targets!’
Maybe but i say by the situation it should be advised to use flashbangs before entry if the hostiles are confined in a tight choke point as it would give the attacking user a higher advantage ,when most hostiles need to see u push but won't be prepared for a flashbang ,unless we today have some sort of visor that dialates the effects enough for u to not be disoriented much.
most troops dont carry flashbangs
I can assure you as someone that hasn't geld a gun in years that bullets will go straight through those walls, no problem so you don't need to peak, you can just spray the next room through the wall
You’re suppose to just tactically slide through the door or dolphin dive and do a 360 room clear while in the air

Took me a second to realize why first one was wrong. He had the barrel too far forward to the point that he had to move it around the door, taking it off the direction that he’s clearing. Third option kept the barrel back so didn’t have to move to clear the door swinging
I think the first one is wrong because the gun points in the door, and when he opened it, he lost a second to pull the gun back.
ORESHNIK says hello to your tactical door opener
Captain Price the Best move. 😊
Considering that you are taller than the door frame I would recommend you avoid CQB combat at all costs. And let your shorter squad mates handle close quarters engagements, how ever given your war machine frame I would recommend taking a SAW or steal a m61 Vulcan chain gun from a your humvee and use it to spray down the building to protect your squad mates. Alternatively you could opt for a M109A7 Paladin howitzer cannon chambered in 155mm self propelled shells this will allow you to quite literally blow away the enemy without risking your squad, also the howitzer has the added benefit of stealth as your enemies won’t live long enough to figure out what that strange loud bang in the distance was
I served under sam fisher and the only way to handle this situation is to turn off the lights and put on the night vision goggles. Then you need you climb to the top of a steam pipe and wait for the enemy.
Third one is bad as well because you’re close enough to the edge someone could gain muzzle control of your weapon if they are behind the doorway
Do a captain Price style
I feel like this is kind of true, but what ive always heard is open door, stay out of fatal funnel, let the room breathe, then pie it after 8-10 seconds of waiting
We got 100+ years old skibidi generals with ultra experience in the comments in there 😅
There’s stories of enemies opening doors as teams were about to breach it. I think you’d wanna stay as far away from that threshold as possible🤣
Me, Myself and I: Runs in.
The hinges of that door... Well oiled.
Breacher: Am i a joke to you?
Instructions unclear, i got shot through the door before i could open it
Yes because that drywall is gonna stop anything at all. As soon as that door moves you are getting lit up from the intruder down the hall that has the advantage of not being stuck in a single room with paper walls.
Случай ,когда демократия постучалась к тебе в дверь.
In real fight: guys dead when he take the handle of the door
In reality: enemies will hell fire you in front of the door*
This approach will work only if the following specific conditions have been ticked:
1. You need to clear the room as fast as possible without any regard for your safety whatsover. Rambo Style
2. You are 100% sure there is only 1 combatant in that room.
3. You are 100% sure that enemy combatant is untrained or dumb as a rock.
4. The combatant does not know of your precense yet.
5. You are 100% sure that room has other doors and not a death funnel (a room with only one door used for entrance and exit like a bathroom)
If all conditions are marked yes then go for it but the chance whether you live or die would still be 50/50.
The best approaches that will lessen risk have been mentioned below already.
It is where you stand the opposite side of the door handle and swing the door wide open while aiming and backing away to clear the angles you see first (without showing any part of you, your gear or your weapon on that doorway)
These will do the following:
1. Lessen visual info you show the enemy while being able to clear the angles you see.
2. Confuse and shock the enemy even for a brief moment.
3. Give you the option to move away or follow up with a non lethal or lethal explosive according to the situation.
Try to simulate the scenario and picture yourself as the enemy in the other room.
1st scenario: You are already alerted that a soldier/policeman/gunman is in the house looking for you. You are on high alert with your 2 buddies.
2nd scenario: You are inside a room with 2 buddies minding your own business unaware that a person will be clearing the room.
Imagine all the possible things that could happen with the type of entry shown in this video and the type of entry I've said here in my comment and apply it to both of the scenarios above.
Honey did you cleaned the house? Y e s
is it just me or this dude an actual giant
The fact situational tactical information is being toted as always absolute fact sickens me… it’s situational!? You got a room knowing you’re at the highest elevation , then open that door baring down…
It’s all about knowing your surroundings . Don’t cap.
You shoot the door then open while shooting then throw grenade and another one while shooting then another grenade and Maybe gas or something, get in keep shooting inside and Maybe is clear
So what is the difference between the 1st and 3rd door opens other than dude kneeling in the first? And if that is what he did wrong, then why? I would've thought that it'd be better to be at a lower height than normal eyesight and thus theoretically a harder target to aim at and hit.
This guy in real life:
Step 1: blinds himself with flashbang
Step 2: drops gun as hands go over face
Step 3: bad guys laugh as door slowly swings open, showing him spinning in circles holding his eyes and yelling
Step 4: they throw more flashbangs just to troll him
Either this is for SWAT missions or military because realistically they would throw a grenade into the room and close it (no hostages of course) and then they breach
its for airsoft, read the poster's username and the title lmao

Either way against trained soldiers is 50/50 chance of survival.
It's more like 25% chance if you attack...
Was just about to say this but figured someone did. The 50/50 only applies if both are moving and searching. If one is holding the angle and hearts your position its like 99/1 without the use of utility
