So glad I skipped school to go to this :) Memories
You definitely won on this one!
What a brilliant band with one of the best frontman of all time.
So true!! 😊🥰
Agree!❤
It's weird how nostalgia can make you feel happy and sad all at once 🥰
That's literally what the word means- the pain of remembering
It's not only nostalgia. First it's REM but it was ;-)
Well said!
Ahhh good old melancholy nostalgia
My children reminisce about this concert, pulled them from school for this
Now that's great parenting! Seriously, some days you just have to say "Fuck it", this is more important than another day of school. That's why your kids will idolize you for the week and will always remember that day. Great job!
Agree! Your bond with your children must be ❤
You make me feel old!
Your kids are lucky to have a parent who recognizes how much you can learn outside the classroom. You're a goddamn beauty and more parents should be like you.
Ce mix est excellent Mike est souriant et très beau je l'adore toujours et de plus en plus 💖💖💖💖💖💖
😂
I saw them many times, starting in 1985, and they were never ever less then captivating.
What an incredible performer Stipe was, fantastic!
REM at the peak of their career, but Michael’s music continues undeterred. No Time For Love Like Now, excellent.
the best of the year 2021. R.E.M's songs and Michael Stipe's voice and smile.
That wink and smile he gave, after, "That was the rain honey" 😉😉😃🤣🤭❤️❤️❤️🤗🥰🤣😍 Love IT!!! ❤❤🥰😍😍😍😃
2001....
I just SMILE 😶 everytime I see HIM and the BAND!! LOVE YOU GUY'S!!!!

This may have been their best show ever
Try Tourfilm.
I’m watching this 8am on 18th May 2021 in Australia and all this time later, the music is epic. Love this band. 🙏🏼🥰

Was there. Stipe rules!
Il me fait plus de bien que mes anxiolytiques merci Mike💝💝💝💝💝
Great energy in this show. They're having a blast -- thanks for uploading. I'm American but grew up near the border -- spent my teenage years going back and forth between Buffalo and TO. Miss it to this day. Love you Canada! And love you REM!
Live in Toronto and have made my fair share of road trips to Buffalo for live music.
This was fun, stumbled upon this wandering in Toronto.
R.E.M I LOVE YOU❤❤❤
Rem , simple, one of the best groups ever, they were fantastic
Man o man does their two biggest hits speak me crying’ deep down in my soul and to NOW!! We so. Need you guys back RIGHT NOW in the US!! Please🙏
Came down there on my lunch break from King and Jarvis. Being a small dude, I weaseled my way past Shuter, kinda close.. ish. Great show. One of those Toronto memories, cuz everyone was nice... and standing dead still ;)
Very lucky you!!
What a treat this gig must have been. Top marks to REM and lucky Canada.
If this doesnt leave you with a smile on your face i cant help you... what a mindblast! so glad i could be there.. cheers for uploading! respect!
OMG 2001, the best days of my life, and this was happening. 🧡
I think it was the best concert of them!
The best R.E.M.❤❤❤!
This was an awesome concert, I was there and then saw them again in Dublin in 2002 (I think or maybe 2003?) I still tell people about the version of “end of the world” loved it 👌👍
Memorabili, strepitosi, ineguagliabili, assoluti, mitici e MERAVIGLIOSAMENTEUNICI ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Michael feeds the multitude : )
I was there and loved it!

The drummer's father signed REM Prince,Madonna , Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dire Straits to Warners and produced a ton too.

Excelent..the bestband!!👍👏👏👏🇪🇬🌠
just watched the 92 show from the 40 Watt and it led me to this. R.E.M. overload right now and I'm here for it. those of you that haven't heard/seen that show should do so immediately
I think people these days forget how big they were......from the 80's all the way up to this time..HUGE!
I was there!

Maravilhos ❤️🌻 Stip perfeito ❤️🌻❤️
All band fantastic, Stipe beautiful performance.
The guy at the end cracks me up. Michael Stipe tosses him the mic for last chorus of the last song of the encore, their most rollicking anthem. The crowd is going nuts but he politely checks first: "Would you like me to sing?"
Brilliant stuff..
I so wanted to go to this concert, but I had to work. I was living in northern NY just across the St. Lawrence from Ontario, a few hour’s drive from Toronto. Less than three months later, free access to Canada would be a thing of the past after 9-11.
The best of the best!
Love to hear michael sing!
But your all good thanks!
Nice JIB!
Perfeito ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amo esta canción 😍y a Mike

Great!!
There was a rumor in 2003 that circulated the full version of the concert that REM offered at Glastonbury 2003, if there is such a recording?
Yes, and I think portions of it are on RUclips. Sorry, I don’t know the site.

R.E.M. should've toured with the Tragically Hip

Great show… director never directed music lol…
Why is the concert free?!???
It was filmed for a TV concert special for Canada's version of MTV. REM were paid lots of money to do this.
NOT the REM of IRS

Love the band! Can't help sense though that some songs are lip synced...Too exact to recording. Thoughts from those who were there?
Thanks for the comment. For clarity, this was 100% live & is in no way lip-synced at all
10:25
Anyway anyone knows the wife of michel?
Thomas Dozol, a photographer and artist. Michael is gay, came out a long time ago.
!*and man all in me is deuhst and
The Concert four days before in Cologne in front of 80000! was better.
really for me personally, the only two songs worth listening to are the last...but of course i'm older...reppin the front end of genX. mainly i'm not interested in anything after michael without hair.
Definitely not 2001 . I was there Must have been 2003
This show was 100% 2001 👍
maybe you were there in 2003 but it seemed a bit quiet, not many people around.....?
Nope. This was definitely in May of 2001. I took up a temporary residence, a room in a private home for a six week consultation job in St. Lawrence County, NY. I was unable to attend this event because of work, something I came to regret. Just pre 9-11, it was the last time regular New Yorkers could drive casually between the US and Canada without a passport or any special license.
