Kage is just bad I'm general. His range is probably the worst and Gill is just spam pyro and cryo and his range is amazing. Hes too strong while Kage is way too weak. Needs a buff tbh
Gill isnt super strong hes ok, and Daigo normally says these things so that characters dont get nerfed. Also just because one or two pro players may be really good with a character, doesnt make said character strong

John Cecil-Milton Waller worst Gill lol. Nemo is one of the 5 Japanese gods and has the best Urien in the world. His spacing with gill is near impeccable already.
@@democansrepublicrats1318 his combos were subpar. I don't think he did anything over a 7 hit, which Gill can go for 12 hits easy. Also a bunch on special moves he didn't utilize. He has good fighting strategy in order to win, but his overall utilization on Gill's combos and move set isn't top tier.

I think he knew Daigo was far below his level with Kage.. Look at other videos of Nemo : to give an idea, as a Gill main, he gave me curiosity to discover long combos and train hard to place them which I insist on : not easy to practice.

Was going to say the same thing. Dont get me wrong he is still light years ahead of me in skills but his Kage is horrible compared to alot of high rank Kages out there.
He obviously still learning Kage. Look at his Kage moves and decision, way inferior in comparison to his Guile; even purposefully taking risk of Gill attack range. Not something pleasing to watch but for him it's great deal of experience of what he can expect from Gill players.
