Junior Doctor Diaries ep1: The Big Move from Medical School to Rural Doctor

I had it all planned out... and almost every single one of those plans changed. But that's moving for you I guess! After 4 years of accumulating life and things in medical school, I packed it all up and moved to the city I'll spend at least the year finally being a doctor!
After being here about a week I can definitely say the feelings have set in - even though the beginning of this vlog I say they haven't. I have been on a rollercoaster ride of emotions this entire week of orientation. The week ended with my first shift as a Doctor (we are meant to be shadowing a PGY2 - but my team had more PGY1s than 2s so it was a bit hectic) regardless I survived and so did all of our patients.
I'm excited to be here and already so grateful for the hospitality the town has showed me. In for a big year I think...
