I've heard many people who seem very confident admit that they struggle with self-esteem a lot. Confidence is walking into a room and gaining a stranger's respect. Self-esteem is knowing that, at the end of the day, you don't need that stranger's respect.
My favorite "confidence is key" stories came from my middle school science class. We were making soap which uses lye, a chemical that could be dangerous if in contact with skin (we were using something slightly safer, but same principle), so we had on aprons, goggles, and gloves. Before we started, I remembered I needed something from my locker, so not wanting to take everything off, I just made my way in full science gear.
On my way, I passed a TA that was notoriously strict on dress code, and I fully expected her to at least question me. But no. I was speed walking with a purpose, and she didn't even stop to question it. Confidence will get you surprisingly far, even in situations where you feel like you don't fit in.

So I just looked up the definition of berries, and it kinda makes sense now. It's not that all of those fruits really count, the definition of a berry is just way too vague. A berry in simple terms, is just any kind of fruit without something like a core or a pit in the center which you can't eat. That's why pumpkins and stuff count. but strawberries don't, because strawberries... Have the leafy part? HEY WAIT BUT PINEAPPLES HAVE THAT TOO WTF?!

Berries also have the requirement that the fruit is derived from a flower with a single ovary. Strawberries don't count because their flowers have multiple ovaries. Pineapples count in the most technical sense since each part that makes up the pineapple is derived from a single flower with a single ovary; they just fuse together later on, and so each pineapple consists of multiple berries.

FUN HISTORY FACT: pink used to be associated solely with boys and blue used to be associated solely with girls in the early 1900’s because “pink was a decidedly stronger color suited for boys, and blue was dainty and more suited for girls”. This changed because they wanted to market clothing towards a broader audience and tried to play into pink being a softer, girly color. The norm of blue for boys and pink for girls didn’t even start becoming a standard until AFTER WWII, and only really began to stick in the 1980s

Fun fact:
Some people confuse birds that have bright feather coloring often assume that the bird is female.
This is actually false, because some bird species don't do this. When you look at a very colorful birb, that birb is a boy. Why is it this way? Its because bird males are colorful in order to attract female birds. Why do they do this and what do females look like? Well its in order to attract females so they can have babeys, and females tend to be colors that are dull or not that beautiful, and tend to be darker and less rich colorful.
By from what this means...
Male birds are the ones that attract mates.
Although some bird species don't contribute to this norm tho....
An example of this can be crows or eagles....
Crows because their the goth birbs and eagles don't give a care in the world.
Also because I said some bird species tend to have the males look handsome and colorful.
This also means that due to dinosaurs and birds being in the same family tree, this could possibly mean that a trex with feathers could've been very colorful. This also means that now I can put the image of a pink feathery velociraptor in your head.

1:32 to clarify this, Pumpkins are a _gourd_ but all gourds are _also_ a type of berry. I believe the general rule of thumb is that anything that starts as a flower and grows into what is effectively a capsule of energy and mass in order to provide their seeds with lots of extra nutrients is a fruit. As far as I can tell, what defines a berry is forming from a singular flower and not having a stone/pit/core.
