Cool video! I'm coming back down to St Pete next month, bringing light gear, hoping to catch something too! I was born in St Pete, visited often as a child, we left when i was young though... :( I'm researching spots for some short get aways (2hrs) to fish while there with fam... Found your channel from Rad Reeling!
I follow both you guys. Thanks for all the info. Used to fish some of your spots in high school. Never caught much but if I knew then what y’all have taught me I would have slayed the fish. Hopefully I’ll get back out soon. Thanks both of you so much.
Great video!! I like the new pier but way to many people wanting to take pictures with pelicans smh it used to be such a good spot. Still waiting to run into you at one of spots hopefully soon. Thanks for the videos!
Good to see you out there. I have been out there watching others fish. Quite the hike to get out there. I see you had a wagon to get your gear out there. Always good instructional videos.. Keep it up.
Slayed em! I have such a love/hate relationship with the pier lol. Too many restrictions on where you can fish and man oh man is it touristy 😂.. great video Bush!
Thank you brother. yeah that is the reason that I haven't been fished there. Too many tourists get in front of you in front of the camera it's kind of hard sometime.
Flick a live pin or greenie back there you definitely will hook up on cobia or chunk half of blue crab between the pilings you will get big drums there I got my pb there "old pier" 53lb.But don't like fishing there. Miss the old pier where you can actually fish anywhere on the pier not just confined in the back part of the pier which is ehh. Since I like throwing arti by the front of the pier for snook, reds and trout.
Hey. Thank you for all the videos and info. I love the channel. I am relatively new to sheep's head fishing and haven't had much luck. Where can I get those small crabs here in Tampa. Everyone seems to be out them. Do you catch them yourself? I have tried frozen cut blue crab knuckles and frozen sand fleas so far.
Thank you I appreciate your support you catch them yourself on the low tide just flip those rocks. Or is a bait shop on gandy boulevard and westshore they always carry them.
where is the new fishing pier in St. Pete's? I can't find it on Google, the fishing pier website doesn't have the location anywhere on the site, It's zoomed in so much that I can't tell where it is. I will be vacationing down there in a few months.
Depending where you are staying at. If Pinellas area any passes or wading at ft Desoto will work for the jigs. Use about 1/6 to 1/4 oz jig in grass flats. Doa cal or zman will works. Or 1/2 oz in the passes BTW get procure it will help your bite ratio up.
Watching and waiting for you to get kicked out of the area above the steps. Get booted every time I fish on top of that pier. I have come to prefer the kayak underneath. It is LOADED!
Good job 😊😊
Cool 😊

Thank you I'll see you out there one of these days. St Pete Pier is a great spot not in my favorite list but good action around there.
Good to see you out there. I have been out there watching others fish. Quite the hike to get out there. I see you had a wagon to get your gear out there. Always good instructional videos.. Keep it up.

Thanks Bush..great video..👑..what's going on with Skyway is the fishing bad? No one is fishing there?
Thank you. Was one of the worst year for skyway fishing. Dolphins were horrible this year you couldn't toss any bait out.
Good bunch of sheepies there, as always you slayed them brother. Tight lines 🤙🎣
Thank you They've been biting pretty good how's the bite in your side.
@@FishOnChannel sheepshead bite is great, been getting 18”+ almost everytime, but not much else these days
Wow, now that’s some pretty fishing you did there! Even on KAREN Avenue! 😂
Thank you 😃 that's one of the reasons I don't go there. Too many visitors and that was on a weekday.
@@FishOnChannel boy I hear ya on that one! Stay clear of the St. Pete crazies. Turn around and your tackle is stolen lol
I WAS EXPECTING A VID FROM APOLLO THIS WEEK

Didn't have any live bait and I didn't bring my cast net. I saw a lot of white bed swimming around.
@@FishOnChannel wow I'm surprised they are already here during the cold weather we are having lately.
Me too I wish I brought my cat's net
@@FishOnChannel There always next time!

800 2nd Ave NE Ground Floor, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 👍
do you ever have luck at anclote gulf pier?
Don't really fish the pier a lot I fish near the power plant for pompano and permit
Do you think throwing jigs will work? I'm going out next week there and I'm from the PNW so 0 experience fishing in Florida
In this area you need shrimp or crabs. You have to go by the power plant if you want to use jigs.
@@FishOnChannel thank you!

Where do I find the carbs?
Around Courtney Campbell causeway.
What time of the year was this?
during this moth

😊😊😊😊😊
Yeah, homie on the Kayak limited out real fast. He said it was fishing in a barrel
Taking my kayak there next time
@@FishOnChannel can you attach a rope and alligator pool floatie for me? Thx
First 😎
Appreciate you brother
I should’ve been first on this one 😂
Haha 😃💪
Water too nasty to eat from this area but I have seen people eat fish grown on garbage water XD
