Just to clarify, defense is REALLY good on her, if you go with hp mainstats def% should be your priority substat since fu xuan (and any character that has 4k+ hp benefits a lot from def
this cannot be overstated. even with every other stat being good, my fu xuan was getting killed all the time in end game content, and someone on reddit said I didn't have enough def and that I should increase it. Ever since then I've noticed she is definitely tankier. The more def the better, just make sure you have around at least 6k hp while trying to get more def

for Acheron team specifically, I got the best results putting her in the middle for higher chances to proc Trend LC when the enemy decided to hit someone else with their blast attacks.
I would like to add that def% is also decent on her speed=>hp%>def%=>eff res.Also err rope is not best for sig lc,since sig lc gives some er,it is kinda unnecessary for the extra ults,thus hp rope is better than er rope.2pc long is better than 2pc withering since she scales off hp,tho best is 2pc long + 2pc withering,which is bulkier than 2pc long + 2pc messenger,since long and messenger is in same cavern,i would suggest it if ur not building ur quantum dps👍🏿
I've been obsessed with getting Fu Xuan ever since I tried borrowing someone else's while I was mat farming with my Acheron team. Her SP positivity makes building up petals so much quicker compared to my own Aventurine.
I use 2 part quantum 2 part health set, she really doesn't need the damage reduction and my support for the most part run keep so I run the hp orb/ring on her. There's very few rare cases she can take enough damage for the team to out right get 1 shot. And I can't tell you how many times I've had my entire time just die and Fu is left there standing as the lone survivor just soloing the boss for 10+ rounds lol, she is a tough woman to crack.

Nice guide. One question though. Some people think that one DEF % main stat in her artefacts will result in higher tank'ability because a mixture of both defensive stats is better. Her HP scaling is not groundbreaking and if you have good HP % substats on that piece...I think it could be more viable. What do you think about it.
Tbh, depends on your stats: I personally run a 9k fu xuan, and she has 1.8k def and 120 spd, because the amount of def on my subs are roughtly the same as a def% piece, + needing the spd for fleet, but if you have good def pieces, go for it, since tank-xuan and anything that can sustain and keep state from procting too early is fine. (From being more tankier, more def, or just faster for higher ults, and more dmg.) personally, I don’t do spd-xuan or crit-xuan since when running her, it allows for frail units like Acheron to run higher atk% stats, and add more Crit dmg to her kit. With this, by running a tankier, slower Fu xuan, it makes her more sp positive, and when u need to, u can always either change to spd boots if the dmg being deal is too big, and u just have to skill every turn (like a 20k grey wolf..) or skill more often to avoid debuffs and get ult back, which can hit like a fudging truck when running crit xuan, or act as a shield breaker when needed, like against Gepard, aventurine, or the traffic lights. Basically, if it work, use def piece, if not, it’s fine, just find your best use for your fu xuan, since she’s just the multi-tool of preservation, and compared to aventurine, can go and fill so many different roles compared to his main points. If it work, it works.

Well, it depends of your teams. For me, 1.8k defense is enough, she doesn't die anyways, so I don't need another relic with Def% as main stat. But most of cases, Fu Xuan won't die, even if you only use Triple Life% artifacts. But if you feel that Fu Xuan doesn't tank enough and die first, so Def% is a good option
Lmao I just built my Fu Xuan as a burst dps bc I was super tired of getting double crit HP pieces, so shes rocking a 4 piece longevous diciple with 2 piece fleet of the ageless now and 55 / 140 crit split and over 8k hp😂. Shes still doing very good as a damge sponge and can actually squeeze out 35k ults 🥹

I’m using 2-piece of Guard and the healing set. This brings her to practically full during the screen-flip move, and helps teammates’ healing. Would that work out OK?
Instead of triple HP, what about double HP plus one DEF? Less diminishing returns because I’m using two stats instead of one. I had to give up a SPD boot, so she’s sitting at 110 speed.

Fu Xuan is great for Acheron or jingilu get fu xuan . Fire fly might get power crept in 3-5 months if power is why u want her . Sustains will always be good
I gave mine HP boots, but 2 piece hackerspace to compensate. Also have a few speed substats so im sitting at around 120 speed and 8,3k HP. Idk if the 6% of hackerspace are already on that or if they get added in battle. Its so satisfying watching her just refuse to die lol

You can just run the classic DPS/Support/Support/Sustain team with Fu Xuan if you want! There's also team comp examples online if you want to try looking for some

@@ren2itoI’d agree if her ult healing was higher. Sure I could slap an outgoing healing chest piece but that’d be a waste of stats for her type of character who isn’t a healer. Jingliu takes away quite a lot of HP in her enhanced state. Especially if you cycle her w Bronya or sparkle. You’d have to have Fu Xuan gain her Ultimate every 2-3 turns to not have negative health loss on a jingliu team
I'm not having a problem using them together, but i guess it depends on how strong your JL is. If she one shots everything you wont need as many turns and in conclusion wont lose that much hp. Sure, something like luocha might be more comfy but since i pulled fx ive replaced him literally everywhere i used him before lol

yeah they're both cheeks as sustains so you really want someone like fu xuan, or aventurine, or huohuo.

If you can reach 1.8 k defense without any principal stat, you don't need more.

She has way more use then a dps like firefly. I also want her too but had to get Fu Xuan instead because she can fit in so many teams.

You dont need SPD boots to hit 134+ spd, it just makes it easier. I hit 9K HP with HP boots and have 134+ spd 😀

I just got her, and I want Boothill too. Got Bronya 20 pulls after her and I am contemplating to pull Boothill bc he's fun and good for Apocalyptic shadow or wait for Ruan Mei bc she opens up many teams possibilities. I am around 50 pity rn and still have 45 wishes. Should I go for Boothill?
No boothill needs to have his light cone or you will struggle building him.
