@@Baldmario_vrIf the switch is set to 240 and you're on American 115, it will turn on and seem to function but it will not operate properly due to the lack of power If you do the opposite, connecting 115 volt device to a 240 volt supply you will burn some stuff!

Excellent, clear tutorial. Unfortunately I could not adjust the front to back tilt as you described. It kept going back to tilted when I tightened the 6 screws underneath. It turns out the front to back tilt doesn't make much difference because the print head doesn't move in that direction. Instead, the bed moves front to back. I checked the bed height at the nozzle for the front and rear bed positions. It is the same.
great video, but I have a question, here in the auto leveling, it shows me numbers of negative 0 and positive 0, with majority of it green boxes and on the further sides are blue, is it normal?
It is normal to have different mix if greens and blue. However the symptoms will be a telltale sign for a few things. If front and rear side of the bed showing big difference, meaning Z Axis gantry isn't squared If sides vs middle is not consistent, meaning the bed might be warped...
Came back to give another update. I moved away from the Creality series entirely. You can have a printer as a hobby or print as a hobby. I went with the Bambu A1 and I have yet to have a failed print.
Got stuck on "Auto Z Offset in progress"... turns out I missed the z-motor plug. Moment I saw you do it I thought... there was another one? It's hidden back there and wrapped under so I didn't think anything was unplugged so if anyone gets that issue, check that z-motor cord.
So 20 minutes in to me following this "15 minute setup" and you're telling me that "step 1" was in fact wrong 😂 and I've gotta unscrew the only things I've screwed in lol. Anyway thanks for your guide! I certainly couldn't follow theirs 😅
Hahahah the explanation video made it long.. took less than 15mins once familiarized.. took lots of trial and errors to get this, now am churning out printers like an assembly line. Hahhahha. Thanks for the comment.
Check your watt power slide on the back of the printer. Make sure your at 115 if you live in the US. I have a friend that bought one of these and had the switch on the wrong side. His did the exact same thing you are mentioning. Slow movement, and then getting stuck on the leveling part.
@@thehobbist5544I was actually coming back to this channel to notify American buyers that the switch on my particular model was defaulted to the 240 option. If you have American power and run it at 240, it won't blow up but it won't operate properly. If you have 240 and run it in 115, it will blow up something - I'm assuming this is why they have it defaulted to 240 volts
Edit: Turn the fracking thing off of 230v behind the printer if you are in Canada or America...

Sigh. I just bought this, returned it and bought another. Neither one will 'level' as yours did.
