I support Amanda in this fight, but Valentina obviously won, for the fact that I felt bad and a little bit disappointed means Valentina won
I'm a die-hard fan of Valentina and I wanted her to win but the fact is she couldn't knock Amanda out and it was for the championship so Valentina lost. In order to win the championship Valentina has to KO her opponent rather having a draw game. Amanda is a beast for sure.

@@pashaw8380 That wasn't a draw though, and she doesn't have to knock her opponent out to win. But there is a rule that you have to clearly beat a champion to win, and that rule gives the champion a huge advantage that I find retard.

judges you mean? yea they need to figure out a much better ranking system. like rank a few categories 1 out of 5 and the winner has the highest number. punches/ kicks thrown and landed, damage taken (physical look at end) takedowns/ride time/escapes, activity/passivity(who was more aggressive). thats just spitballing but i think its a much better system that wouldnt need judges tbh just math lol

Porque no sabes de MMA.
Se fueron a puntos por los jueces aún que Amanda no conectaba tan fuerte como Valentina, cada golpe y patada al estómago contaba puntos, Valentina conectaba golpes mas fuertes pero Amanda conectaba mas puntos en cada oportunidad que tenía.

This is the problem with how much weight is given to takedowns when scoring these rounds. Valentina clearly won the fight, but they would score the take down that Nunes did nothing with as higher than all of Valentina's strikes.

Was gonna say the same, shevchenko was fuckin her up with elbows and punches from the guard, didn’t see one punch that Nunez landed.
The issue is the inconsistency. They’ll score biasly on takedowns here, but when yan took O’Malley down over and over they gave it to O’Malley. I would very much appreciate some consistency

Si crees que la ufc es puro juego limpio eres muy inocente pequeño saltamonte, la ufc es puro negocio como todo en la usa. Los jueces saben muy bien donde y como hacer para que la ufc genere millones, estan todos coluidos. Los luchadores son solo marionetas.

Excelente pelea.
I agree that Valentina did a number on Amanda from round 2 onwards, even during the takedown she did more damage. But it was a tactical fight, most of it was pretty even. Against a champion if you can't KO you need to win clearly, you can't bet on initiative or 10% more landed strikes, no judges are gonna crown a champion by split decision. Awesome fight, no matter the scoring.

@@tinaruzol7256 Amanda didn't win that fight. She ran out of gas in the last rounds and that is why she went for clinch and takedown, but she couldn't do much and even that wasn't enough to win.
There wasn't any significant strike in Valentina left sheen, the blood can be because nails.

I always thought that in such competitions the participants compete to see who can hit the other person in the head the most times. Here are Shevchenko's hits in the standing position: 10:55; 13:22; 14:21; 14:37; 15:57; 17:53 double; 18:42 double; 19:56; 20:42 double; 22:55 three. And on the floor the situation has not changed: 27:07 three.

Most of the time when Amanda got hit she backed up with her arms out to the side. Valentina missed many opportunities to capitalize on that. It was hard to cheer for either side. I like them both. Great fight.
She often does that backs up and throws her arms up in the air, I guess she jumps so far back when she does it that it's like no one tries to get her there lol. Love both these women!

Cuando vi esta pelea en vivo pensé que había ganado Shevchenko 48-47 pero ahora pudiendo regresar el video pude darme cuenta de varias cosas:
1.- Nunes ganó los rounds 1 y 2 en base a los golpes significativos y ser quien busca la pelea.
2.- Shevchenko ganó los rounds 4 y 5, a pesar del control y el derribo por parte de Nunes en el 5to no pudo aprovecharlo con golpeo.
3.- Sin duda el round 3 fue el más parejo en cuanto a golpes significativos pero en mi opinión lo ganó Nunes por muy poco.
Todos las personas que vimos este combate en vivo y las repeticiones del mismo se noto que contundente gano Valentina 4 a 1. Se la robaron!
Pero lamentablmente tienes que hacer "algo más" para ser campeón.

Mm, every round was close, but I do think Amanda edged at least 3, and the takedowns at the end probably clinched it. You have ‘take’ a championship from the champion, and Valentina played it just a little too safe 😳
