Okay I probably showed the harder of the 2 ways first. You might want to try the @02:52 strategy first and if that doesn't work try the first strategy. EDIT: oh yeah, the strategies are to use either the Long extension with the white nozzle or the Short extension with the green nozzle. The stubby extension gun just doesn't seem to make this challenge easy regardless of the nozzle (for me at least).
Got it with the long method, 1:09.00 exactly, Took me what felt like forever, but a few tries with your method and sorted. One gold left for the trophy. Much appreciated
Honestly, I often think that more credit goes into all the practice so many people got before seeing my videos, but I'm glad if anything I said or did might have helped at all.
I finally did it thanks to your tips. One thing that worked for me was when I had cleaned the bulk of the dirt (no visible dirt on the outside) I switched from the green nozzle to the yellow nozzle. I hope that helps someone here.
I read your other post earlier and had planned to reply when this one just popped up. CONGRATS, RH! Kind of you to say the videos helped, but that you were able to get the achievement probably speaks more to your ability than my tips...
That's awesome, mark, congratulations! Probably seems like a dozen tries took too long, but that's actually pretty fast by my estimation. Good luck if you have more to do, and thank you for the comment and kind words too.
Hey, Hulkamaniac, my mind just time warped back to 80's wrestling. Good times. If you are getting around 99% pretty consistently, you ARE going to beat this challenge. When I got frustratingly close to beating these challenges, I'd only try maybe 3 times in a row and then take a break. But that's me, the more frustrated I get, I mostly do worse. Since the engine and sprockets were consistently the ones that caused me to fail, I also spent time just cleaning those parts in throw-away attempts so I could try to figure out the best angles and nozzles (if necessary) to complete them. The Van Timed Challenge still eludes me--I am missing the gold by 3 seconds. Just failed it again right before I saw your message. And I gave up completely on the Fire Truck, Vintage Car, and some of the others... freaking ridiculously hard for me. I guess all I can really do is leave you with the 3 demandments of your name sake: "train, say your prayers, and eat your vitamins."
@@Hulkamaniac418 If the timed dirt bike challenge was your first gold medal, some of the others might seem easier but are probably about the same difficulty. Some seem absolutely impossible to me, so I'll only tell you which I have earned gold on. Since you are familiar with the dirt bike now (and it's fresh in your mind), I'd probably start by trying the water dirt bike challenge. Should be another quick gold. For me, the two timed house challenges were pretty easy, although it takes almost all of the 25 minutes to earn gold. (Seriously, you'll probably be finishing around the 24 minute mark if you get gold.) The timed golf cart wasn't too bad and is quick to try. Also not a lot of parts and easy to memorize. The only other challenge I have been able to get gold on was the water van. The edges of the windows are a pain as there is caked on dirt on the window AND the door that will need to be hit with a high-pressure nozzle to clean fast--that or maybe the provided chemicals. Not that you need to watch them, but I think I have videos up for most of these... you can probably get these on your own with a little practice or a lot of luck. If you have any questions or are getting roadblocked, I'll try to be more helpful than saying, "train, say your prayers, and eat your vitamins," next time. Good luck.
I finally managed to get this one done and earn the 5 gold medals trophy. My final time was 56 point something seconds. I actually used the stubby power washer and the green tip attachment and it worked really well for me. Thanks!
This is extra hard on PS5 since the timer doesn’t stop when changing extensions… was able to get everything but the engine (99%) in about 1:05 on my first try using your first loadout. It took me about 10 more tries and I was able to do it in 1:07. Thanks a lot for your challenge guides.
Thank you for the comment, and great job getting your trophy! About the timer not stopping to change extensions: most of the time I just use the bumpers on Xbox (isn't that L1/R1 on PS, cannot remember), but if you pause the game to change your gear setup, the timer should stop while you are in the menu, right? Does what I'm saying make sense, if not please let me know.

Wow, what an incredibly nice thing to say! I believe you can and will get them, Madison. We ALL felt these were hopeless when we started, but now we know they're just really hard & very frustrating on console. I agree with what others have said: water challenges are much more relaxing. Dirt bike & golf cart might be good places to start as they are some of the easier ones regardless of choosing timed or water. (Knowing the parts of the dirt bike really helps, and if you keep missing out on a part or two, just practicing cleaning those parts over and over might help get you gold.) Avoid the plane, it's the hardest. Fire truck & antique car aren't very easy and neither is the backyard house. Bungalow takes a while, but isn't too bad. If you have any questions, let me know. There might be some good advice or tips in the comments too, and there's probably other strategy videos if mine don't get you to gold. Please let me know how you do, I'm rooting for you big time.

TL;DR: Awesome and good luck if you continue. Congrats getting your first, carla! I think we all struggle getting any of these. In fact, I just started trying the Timed Airplane challenge and it's kicking my butt. I am still about 45 seconds from Gold and just cannot figure out how to cut that much time from my run. I guess that's why they're called challenges... I'll be waiting to hear when you get your next medal--that you got one tells me you can get all 5 if you want them. Good luck (and please don't feel compelled to keep me updated if you do not feel so inclined).
@@carlakoalas39 I never even thought to try doing the same one 5 times, great idea (sorry it didn't work). Since you got the Timed Dirt Bike, you might find the Golf Cart or Van not too bad. The timed Bungalow takes almost 25 minutes, but is possibly the most generous on allotted time. (Even now I can still get that one first try after months of inactivity in game.) The Water Challenges for some of the vehicles might not be too bad either. Some people prefer Water Challenges because they seem less stressful. If you can find a Timed Challenge that you get Silver or Bronze (or close to Bronze) within a few attempts, you'll probably have one that you'll be able to get Gold with a little practice. I think I'd try Timed Golf Cart first. It's short and not a lot of parts. Regardless, when you get a second under your belt, you'll feel better about getting 3-5... and the Trophy.
It's about time someone who uses a controller proves that the developers don't test the game on console cuz it's way quicker to finish on PC cuz you have mouse. They should've increased time limits and water capacity for gold by at LEAST 25%.
Mr Ronski, please forgive me for such a delayed reply and thank you for commenting. I am just about over all things Xbox as I quit Game Pass last month. While I recently bought a PC, I will be interested in seeing what Sony does with the next PS release. Thanks again.
Hi, linedpaper. Powerwash Simulator is available on PC, PS 4&5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox (included in Game Pass for PC & Xbox). So far the DLC has been released for free (at least through Game Pass there has been no extra fees). I play exclusively on Xbox. I'm still playing PWS off and on and have replayed every level no less than 2 or 3 times, and some I've played dozens and much more because I find it strangely relaxing. If you're interested but aren't sure about buying PWS, maybe there is a free trial on your platform, or maybe your local public library carries video games like mine does.
@@aneoid6323 thank you for your informative reply, aneoid! very impressive gameplay given you achieved this on console. i'm on ps5 myself, but the difference is negligible, i'm sure. my last trophy is Gold Standard and i must admit, my feeling of defeat is overcoming my will to secure the platinum... but seeing fellow console players like yourself achieve gold in the challenges is encouraging! so thank you for sharing. i'm rather convinced 5 golds on console is essentially impossible.
@@linedpaper5374 Sorry, linedpaper, I should have known you were asking about my game play--derp. But I'm more of a typer than a content creator, so here goes another ridiculously long reply... These challenges eluded me for a long time, and I thought most were impossible. Now I'm only missing 2 gold medals on vehicles: timed fire truck and timed vintage car. (Not even close on either of them...) Wish I had some magical words of encouragement. I honestly believe you can do it, especially since you are looking into other people's strategies for ways you can succeed. All I can say is the more I tried to beat the challenges, the harder it seemed to be to get gold. Meaning, if I tried 20 times in a row, I never got gold. When I started limiting my attempts to 3-5 tries and then waiting hours, days, or even longer, I started to get better. Seems counterintuitive, but it worked that way for me. If you are close to any gold on a challenge I don't have a video up for, I'd be happy to try to help you if I can.
God I hated this. Most of the time it was the engine. It just wouldn’t give me that f***ing 1% then on other things it’s forgiving to the max. It’s really inconsistent. That’s not a challenge it’s just BS.
Coyoterx, I absolutely hear you loud and clear, and I don't disagree. It took me a hell of a long time to figure out how to get some of these challenges. A couple of them I'd bet took me 10-20 hours to figure out ways that worked for me. Challenges aside, PWS is a great game, and hope you enjoy it.
@@aneoid6323 Thanks, I really did enjoy it otherwise. As it’s a chill game. My issue is I’m a perfectionist that likes to 100% games and I don’t mind challenges. I just like challenges to be done right not just added on half-a’ed as filler. Like when games idea of a hard/hardest mode is to make the enemies bullet sponged with an Aim-bot. It’s hard because it’s difficult because it’s unfair not because it’s challenging.
This achievement is actually impossible. I'm on 4 gold medals. Literally just need 1 more and EVERY SINGLE challenge I try to complete now I can't do. The dirt bike I get so close but can never finish under 1.10 always 1.13 to 1.25. I'm done with this game.
@@aneoid6323 Sure. I've got gold on both the Van levels. The Golf Cart timed and the Dirt Bike water challenge. I wasn't too far away on the Vintage Car timed so may go back to it tomorrow and I don't think I can get any quicker on the Dirt Bike timed no matte what I do lol.
@@IlikeTrainsguy100 Thanks for replying, Ilike. You are obviously good at PWS, and these challenges can be tough and tight on time. And FRUSTRATING! IF you really want the 5th later and don't mind a little investing more time, you might try one of the timed house challenges if you haven't already. They give 25 minutes, and that seems pretty doable for experienced players (but you will probably need almost all the time). I think you got this achievement, just might need a break away before sweet success. Good luck if you try again. Understandable if you move on.
@@aneoid6323 Thankyou very much. Yeah, it is absolutely frustrating being so close haha. I'm not going to give up and give it another go tomorrow after a beak, that sometimes helps I find. We ALL felt these were hopeless when we started, but now we know they're just really hard & very frustrating on console.
I agree with what others have said: water challenges are much more relaxing.
Dirt bike & golf cart might be good places to start as they are some of the easier ones regardless of choosing timed or water. (Knowing the parts of the dirt bike really helps, and if you keep missing out on a part or two, just practicing cleaning those parts over and over might help get you gold.)
Avoid the plane, it's the hardest.
@@aneoid6323Thank you so much for the tips!! I will keep you updated on the progress I make!
@aneoid6323 Good news I just got the dirt bike one done, thanks to your video!! (4 more gold ones left)
@@MadisonDT21 Awesome, Madison! That you did the timed dirt bike tells me you'll be able to get the water dirt bike as well with a little practice. Thanks for sharing the great news, it's almost like starting the weekend a day early.
@aneoid6323 I got this I believe in myself!! And I agree with you it does feel like that!!
This trophy scares me but hopefully this works for me. Thanks man :)
Hi annoyingtiger, thanks for the comment and good luck!
While I play on Xbox, below is what someone commented earlier about trying this on Playstation... maybe it will help you.
mikkdc commented: "For those on PS4 these challenges are much easier by holding L1 to activate motion controls. Much easier than trying to use the right analogue stick."
@aneoid6323 oh nice, I'll try that, especially since my controller is messed up haha thanks!
A year late. Bt thanks to these videos i got plat. So thanks
Well, I am a week late for my reply, so THANK YOU for commenting! Oh, and huge CONGRATS on your platinum too.
Did it on my first try with the long nozzle and white tip. Thank you!
That's awesome, Dan, congrats! You are more talented than me, and thanks for the comment too.
@@aneoid6323 i honestly believe that you have the best guides for these challenges. You’re very calm in the videos which gives me some sort of confidence lol. Just got Gold on the Golf Cart time challenge because of you too. Thanks again. Two down, three to go.
@@danbiddle138 Wow, Dan, you are on a roll. You'll have all 5 in no time at this rate.
After as many hours as I put into these challenges, I guess all the anger and frustration had long since melted away by the time I did the videos...
Thank you, this helped me! I used a little more water than you did, but i got the gold.
Awesome & congrats, Shannon! As long as you get gold, it doesn't matter how. Best of luck if you are chasing more challenges, and if so feel free to keep me updated.
@aneoid6323 well, I ended up getting the achievement with this video as well as the van video
@@shannonsearle2646 Wow that's fantastic, Shannon! You are on a roll.
Thank you so much! Using the stubby gun was definitely my biggest mistake
Thank you, senseweaver, for taking the time to let me know the video helped so very long ago. I just found I have a section where I can see comments I didn't reply to and I cannot rely on notifications in the future to inform me of new comments. I'm sorry, and belated congrats!
Thank you for the tips. I was finally able to get after just a few tries.
That's fantastic, b1orogue, congrats!
Thank you for the comment and have fun playing PowerWash Simulator.
Thank you so much for your help! You’re a livesaver!
Congrats on your medal/trophy, rbfloat! Glad you found this helpful and thanks for commenting.
Worked for me at the second try with ps4 controller. Thanks :)
That's awesome, RibelMay, congrats!
Yes! Got it at 1:05.63 second time with the long attachment method 😮💨
Wow, I'm beginning to think your talent at PWS is helping you more than my videos! Keep it up, and good luck with the remaining ones.
FINALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Congratulations, whitewolf!
Wow dude I did it in a first try after watching your video , fun fact it took me exactly 1:09:40 minutes to do it with green nozzle 😂🔥
That super impressive, sagar, but it probably speaks more to your gaming abilities than my video... Congrats!
Thank you so mutch. I did it in 1:05:55 . You make very nice vODs :) - Very helpful!
@@roguff Wow, you are flying through these.
Thank you for the compliment and good luck if you are chasing more challenges.
@@aneoid6323 Thanks ou so mutch. Now I have 5 Challanges of gold für the trophy, and mayby I try more chalanges.
@@roguff Awesome and congrats on getting your 5!
I found that after beating the first 5, a few more were more easily reachable.
However, to get all the challenges really took a lot of time, trial and error, and patience.
Good luck if you try for more and let me know how you do.
(The stunt plane was a little rough for a timed challenge.)
Bro I swear I don't know how you did it and I literally watched you do it. Got my timing to 1:25. The engine and breakdisk are the worsts.
Hi, smile182blink, and sorry for the delayed reply.
The disks and engine are the worst. I practiced just cleaning those quite a bit on this challenge just to try to figure out what was needed if they were not popping.
Good luck if you haven't cleared the challenge yet, I know you can do it! (And thank you for commenting.)
i just subscribed because im in two minds if i want to do these or not but i at least want to get maybe one of them for the achievement so i will give this a try thank you for the guide
If you have played PWS a bit, some of these challenges should be doable (with a little practice and some luck).
The subscription wasn't necessary but I appreciate you.
FYI, you might want to turn OFF notifications--no one needs to get notified when I upload...
Good luck if you go for these, I think you'll get them!
thank you i didnt realise about the notifications i usually turn them off because im always on youtube anyway but i will attempt these following what you said i came close just before but ran out of time i will look at your video again and try to see where i went wrong @@aneoid6323
This guide helped me complete the challenge. Thank you!
Awesome, Brother X, I'm glad you could make sense of my video and thank you for the comment!
thankyou mate, very useful guide and hope your doing well
Hi, gradient, and thank you. I appreciate you saying the guide was helpful, and I am doing very well and hope you are too.
This really helped, thankyou!
Hey, Dem0nic, thank you and I'm glad it helped. Also, I am sorry for an incredibly delayed reply--I alway assume that I get notified when new comments are posted, I just looked in the "not responded" section and I'm WAY BEHIND. Congrats on your achievement/trophy/success!
Phew.....i struggle so much with these...i only have one and i was sweating lol
TL;DR: Awesome and good luck if you continue.
Congrats getting your first, carla! I think we all struggle getting any of these.
In fact, I just started trying the Timed Airplane challenge and it's kicking my butt. I am still about 45 seconds from Gold and just cannot figure out how to cut that much time from my run.
I guess that's why they're called challenges...
I'll be waiting to hear when you get your next medal--that you got one tells me you can get all 5 if you want them.
Good luck (and please don't feel compelled to keep me updated if you do not feel so inclined).
@@aneoid6323 I sadly thought that i could do the same one 5 times to get my last trophy needed to platinum the game ..this is not the case
(Even now I can still get that one first try after months of inactivity in game.)
The Water Challenges for some of the vehicles might not be too bad either.
Thanks it worked with the second method! 🥵
Awesome to hear, driveshaft. Good luck if you try more challenges.
Pretty well done, I thought you overdubbed the vid in post
One of the nicest comments I've received. You made my day. Wishing you a great day as well.
It's about time someone who uses a controller proves that the developers don't test the game on console cuz it's way quicker to finish on PC cuz you have mouse. They should've increased time limits and water capacity for gold by at LEAST 25%.
I have to agree with you, Michael. While not impossible, these challenges were probably much harder for Xbox gamers than others (especially PC).
Thank you very much, it helped me a lot.
Congrats and that's awesome to hear!
Thank you for the comment.
Thank you man!
You're extremely welcome, Dan!
I’m so happy that I’m on Ps5. Couldn’t play the game with only sticks…
Mr Ronski, please forgive me for such a delayed reply and thank you for commenting. I am just about over all things Xbox as I quit Game Pass last month. While I recently bought a PC, I will be interested in seeing what Sony does with the next PS release. Thanks again.
The tires and fenders are always delay
Agreed, eduardo. The fenders caused me to fail many, many times.
You are my hero
Adam, that you could follow one of my videos and find your own success makes you my hero.
is this on console or PC?
(Not even close on either of them...)
Wish I had some magical words of encouragement.
Thanks
Most welcome
Thank youuuuu
And thank youuuuu (again, again, inês)
Finally got it! 1:09.60 lol.
Congrats, Balto! These were some of the most rewarding achievements I have gotten.
May I ask which 4 you got gold on?
I'll give the car and dirt bike one last go and if not, move on the the house and give that a go.
Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I'll have some good news soon. 🙂
@@aneoid6323 *Update*
Finally! I got the achievement!! The break and patience finally paid off. I unlocked it on the Vintage Car timed challenge, more than a minute under the time as well!!
Thanks for the advice and encouragement, really appreciate it!
I gave up too many fail deleted already this stupid
Understandable, Tom.
I grew really frustrated with some of these challenges. Some took me weeks of trying off and on to figure out what worked for me.
