Longtime viewer first time comment- Your videos have helped me a lot navigate my own diagnosis with BD within the past 2 years. Hoping things will ease up for you and your family soon ❤️ You got this!
@ourbipolar I am going through something so difficult. I am unable to work and stay home. I have a furbaby that is my life and soul. He is with me 24/7. He was just diagnosed with lymphoma. In less than a month so much happened to him. His 11th birthday is December 1st. I am on Seroquel and a few other meds but refused Lithium and Depakote for the past 23 years of my diagnosis. I am 46. I take Seroquel 300mg and my psychiatrist gave me 100mg Immediate Release. We are getting him treatment but it's highly malignant. I just saw something renal related in his report which I guess they will discuss on treatment day number 1 which is Tuesday. I don't know how I will react to worse news. I don't want to end up in the hospital. And for the past 2 years I have been stressing so much about being on Seroquel because of all the really harsh side effects. I developed sleep anxiety. I can’t drink water past a certain time because I think it's anxiety but I have to keep peeing even though i stop water intake early. I also lost most of my hair in 2 years because of extreme stress also my eyelashes and eyebrows are falling. I'm a mess. I'm so scared. It's almost like losing a child God Forbid. He's my baby. Tiny morkie. So sweet and precious. He never let's my cry he rushes to luck my tears. Who will I have to stop my crying. I'm also on Trazadone and Klonopin but sleep is getting harder. Please also keep us in your prayers. I'm praying for your family. You are so inspiring since I found your channel. So high functioning and a lovely personality. I'm so sorry for the long reply.
I am so incredibly sorry. Hoping for the best for both of you. Maybe it’s time to try another med? Lithium changed my life. Depakote was a disaster but everyone reacts differently to meds. Sending so much love and healing. ❤️
@ourbipolar Thanks for the incredibly heartfelt message ❤️ I tried depakote and that's when I started losing even more hair loss. I'm afraid of Lithium and kidneys. Also, I have a urination problem already especially at night even without drinking much water. I can't imagine extreme thirst and urination. Also afraid of the hand tremors. I know i may not even get some side effects but when I read people's experiences on Lithium they all seem to have the water issue. I am scared of what the future holds.
@ourbipolar thank you. I just switched from zyprexa oral tablets to zyprexa relprevv injection every two weeks so at night I dont have oral olanzapine to sedate me enough to sleep long.

Thank you. I had to google it, so I don’t know much. 😂 Also known as Tegretol. I tried taking it for migraine, and I was so foggy and fuzzy that I had to get off it right away. So I’ll never be able to take it for bipolar, but I do know people who have had success with it.
I hope he will get well soon. You are so brave. Take care❤
Thank you ❤️
