Most of the Antenna Coupler is design for out door, because the terminal line from antenna Coupler should be direct to Wip Antenna Terminal. some vessel they install inside bridge but a single large size wire with terminal goin out to Wip antenna. But that design I don't agree because a huge Transmission Power Radiation is spread out inside bridge while the Radio is transmitting. If big Vessel then radio room is totally separate and away from the crew. But in small vessel it should be out of the bridge for safety radiation of transmission of power.
Thanks for the comments. If I have new one why not. It’s easy to replace, but we don’t have, we need to do some remedies so the equipment will work until the spare parts will come. It takes a month to come.

As a matter of interest, does that whip antenna have loading coils, or is it merely a straight "long wire" type antenna?
