If Shanks' evil twin is actually the leader of the Holy Knights, he might also be the one who prevented Kaido from coming to Marineford. That would explain how Shanks got from The New World to Paradise in a matter of hours with his entire crew of non-Devil Fruit users. It would also explain why Shanks was fighting Kaido to begin with. Luffy won't learn magic circle powers or whatever to deal with Imu and the Gorosei, he'll just punch them into outer space.
One of those villians who seems evil at first, but eventually grows to like the Straw Hats. 100% with you this isn't the Big Baddy. With the sewing machine I'm assuming a girl playing with her doll house menagerie and pets. I think that has to be the case unless Shanks has some extreme fast travel ability, though wouldn't Kaido see "Shanks" with 2 arms and get confused if he was sober enough to notice?(that just occured to me) I could see this seamstress maybe making stronger clothing for the Straw Hats, maybe imbue some magic something into them to counter some of Imus juju or something. Not gonna hold my breath on that, but it also occured to me they could maybe coat the Sunny with that weird mirror inside the menagerie and sneak it in somewhere.
@@ChaseDDreamEh, those probably weren’t plastic bones and skulls we saw at the end of the last chapter. I hope they get punished for making this deadly prison before Oda even attempts to make them sympathetic.
@@daddy-odizzy5180 not to be morbid because I do agree about those bones, but I had little containers with lady bugs when I was little. Kids forget that they have responsibility sometimes? The RPG title is interesting, and I did like/laugh at the idea they keep replaying the same game someone said. I kind of feel like this "child" is royalty so like the Celestial Dragons and they see normal humans as insects. I wouldn't forgive a child, but that is more digestible at least. I'm still curious if the giant doctor Stetson poisoned them on purpose to send them to this Sun God, and even untied the Sunny. I can't explain how else they got lost in the fog approaching Elbaf which Kidds approach showed. Feels like Thriller Bark a little.
@@ChaseDDream I get that, but I don’t know if this person is a child. Their build seems a little…at the very least young adult. I also still think that even if their intentions were playful, the result would definitely warrant a Gigant Stamp to the chin from Luffy.
I’m feeling confident that the giant spotted the sunny while they were sailing by and took it like a kleptomaniac for their model. Second, I think the reason they’re called the sun god is literally because they have control over the lightbulb for the model.
Sad that you didn't mention Gear 5's outfit in the new chapter. But, then again, I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out -- But keep in mind, Luffy when transforming into Gear 5 on Egghead looked like he was wearing his old attire and not the new one that he got on egghead, but then it suddenly appeared once Luffy turned back to normal. But then, you don't really see much of the attire change when Luffy goes Gear 5th in (what seems to be) Elbaf due to how he still had the furry cape along with the helmet's horns that could be seen coming from the inside of his hair. This detail just sorta... sticked out to me, honestly, y'know why? Because this same detail where clothes just randomly disappear and reappear was sort of noticeable in the Whole Cake Island arc when Luffy fought Katakuri. In the fight with Luffy going Gear 4 'Snakeman', it was clear that he was possibly the same size as Katakuri or maybe bigger in the manga, hence why his suit shrunk. Not only that, but his sleeves were obviously ripped, and yet, after Luffy defeated Katakuri and depowered from Gear 4, his sleeves were suddenly reformed back to normal like nothing happened. Idk if you've noticed this detail or if others have noticed the detail, but it was always something that stuck out to me the most, and the fact that the animators didn't really keep the sleeves ripped once Luffy turns back to normal in the Anime is also something I noticed, too. (Unless they're just following how the original source material was and kept that part in without question, then that's a whole different story.)
This went from Skyrim to the LEGO movie to the Wizard of Oz real quick! I'm just imagining a version of "Everything is Awesome" in the style of Skyrim! Great, now I think of that line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail about Camelot: It's only a model!
35:45 gotta make a correction. Niddhøgg (or however it's spelled) is the wyrm that gnaws on yggdrasils roots. Jormungandr the world serpent encircles the world. Thor will do battle against it at ragnarok
Oda has been following Gulliver's travels story beat by beat so far, so I'm willing to bet that this sun god giant is a girl based on Glumdalclitch. She is the giant farmer's daughter that loves to play with dolls, just like this sun god giant. I'm willing to bet she will be our "girl that needs saving" in the Elbaf arc.
I'm calling it before the reveal. The skull mask guy is Kureha. Left pant leg is white, right one is black. Bracelet on the left arm. Old enough to be at God Valley. Deer mask could be a thematic nod to Chopper. And to top it all off, the only crew members to be picked up were from the same arc.
I mean... If I was a Giant with the Mini-Mini fruit, I would make a place for me to hang out and be mini, dont rule that out just yet. He might be able to shrink and follow them into the model
There is some part of the that thinks of Laws Rooms or Beige's ability to go into his own fortress. Idk where to go with those thoughts but they occured as similar to me.
One type of deer from the Mediterranean area does the Fallow Deer, but I assume a Moose since they are in the Norse land which should have Artic ties. Though the Fallow Deer also his ties to Cernunnos a God of nature referred to as the Green Man in many mythologies. The palms and tines on the antlers look like a Moose, even if some other person tried to claim on Daks stream Moose antlers never come to a point when they rub off their velvet.
I think they are underwater. In Norse mythology there's Ran and Ægir. Ran is a god of the sea that's associated with nets and claims the souls of who are lost at sea. Ægir is a jötnar that represents the ocean that also likes brewing and he hosts the parties of the gods in his halls. I can see two chacters based off those two capturing humans and using them for their hobbies.
You actually missed another big inconsistency at the start of this chapter: Last chapter they were all at the bottom of the castle, including Nami who fell down. This chapter starts with with her back on top of it.
Some things I really appreciate about this arc so far, it's super funny already. It feels nice after how heavy the later parts of Egghead were. I guess that's pretty standard for One Piece arcs, but it's still nice. I also love how the mystery was presented over these last few chapters.
I love your chapter reviews! I agree with your theory about how the straw hats got there. It makes sense. This is interesting that we aren't quite at elbaf yet.
I guess that the giant will introduce themself as Skrymir. Skrymir is a giant that Thor and Loki met and described as the largest giant they have ever seen. (It later turns out that Skrymir was Utgardloki in disguise.)
Regarding the snake name I’m guessing it’s supposed to be Helmungandr, thus combining two of Lokis children. Or it could be referencing the Swedish word “hylla“ meaning shelf, making it the great shelf serpent.
I concede that, indeed, all of Elbaf is not in fact made of Lego, as I had theorised. Then again if you go back to my first comment, you'll see that I also wrote that absinthe was the most likely reason, which actually wasn't entirely true, the lego and the cat was real, so maybe just last chapter was absinthe-fuelled and beating the shit outta that cat sobered them up? Idk.
Half the fun is theories, keep cooking because not everything is the creme de la creme. I still think Stetson who gave them the absinthe did it on purpose, then untied the Sunny so a Sun God followers could bring them to this menagerie/terrarium.
When everyone on the great eric was waking up didn't one of the giants mention that they should have been at elbaf by now? I think they got close to elbaf but nobody noticed because they were passed out and someone from elbaf swiped the sunny.
I mean we saw giant fish like Kid saw as he got to Elbaf, I think Dorry and Broggy mentioned giant animals, so at the very least they should be in Elbaf waters with giant fish around the Erik.
I think it's more like Oda didn't have the chance to do some of these jokes lately. Like remember the last time Brook made his panty joke? I swear that was ages ago, and that's pretty crazy to think about.
My guess is this introduction was to showcase that even only a world inside the diorama on Elbaf seems to be huge for normal humans. Just imagine how large the Elbaf itself is.
You should look into Gulliver's Travel ! Lots of similarities with what we are getting and that giant might be the parallel to the farmer's daughter who likes to play with dolls and take care of Gulliver during his adventure.
Well, Muginn is Odin's raven "Memory/Mind" and I don't _think_ Hyllmungandr is anything in Norse myth, but it's safe to assume that's a reference to Jormungandr (and possibly suggests that Oda intends for a different Jormungandr to show up in the future). So with all that, I think the prime suspect for this sun god is either Odin or Loki. My money is on Loki because he's the son of a Fire Giant in myth and him doing this sort of thing could be why Lola didn't want to marry him despite her fondness of romance.
I just realized, plastic exists in One Piece confirmed 😮... Idk why but as crazy as the world of One Piece is, that just feels out of place lol. Has there ever been any other mention of plastic or has anybody used a water bottle or anything??? Maybe I just overlooked it but I can't remember any..
Pretty sure the snake is meant to be Jormungandr, The World Serpent Thor is supposed to fight during Ragnarok. You're thinking of the dragon Nidhogg that eats at Yggdrasil's roots.
I think we need usaop to train his observation haki or at least learn to use it. We gotta get ussop to be our ally detector. His observation haki is at least twice as far as sanji's in term of range.
I mean he's gotta take out Van Augur and his teleport fruit with observation haki, and also I think he takes down Marcus Mars because in the story of the itsumade the death bird is shot down by a skilled sniper.
The sunny going away could be Occam’s razor. Everybody got drunk and passed out. Nobody to sail the ships in these waters means, y,know.. disappearing 😂

I think that has to be the case unless Shanks has some extreme fast travel ability, though wouldn't Kaido see "Shanks" with 2 arms and get confused if he was sober enough to notice?(that just occured to me)
I could see this seamstress maybe making stronger clothing for the Straw Hats, maybe imbue some magic something into them to counter some of Imus juju or something.
@@ChaseDDream
I get that, but I don’t know if this person is a child. Their build seems a little…at the very least young adult. I also still think that even if their intentions were playful, the result would definitely warrant a Gigant Stamp to the chin from Luffy.
What? Kaido can fly, he was probably metres away from marineford where shanks was before shanks talk no jutsu’d them
I’m feeling confident that the giant spotted the sunny while they were sailing by and took it like a kleptomaniac for their model.
Second, I think the reason they’re called the sun god is literally because they have control over the lightbulb for the model.
Same, the all mighty light bulb flickerer like any pet in a terrarium would think.
Mister Steal-your-ship and person
Its a sad coincidence that this color spread is based on harry potter, since Mcgonagall's actress, Maggie Smith sadly passed away last week
If all the names to pass recently that one I missed. RIP
shoulda been joanne
It's always so exciting to start a new arc but this may be my favorite start to an arc! So fantastical and strange.
Sad that you didn't mention Gear 5's outfit in the new chapter. But, then again, I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out --
But keep in mind, Luffy when transforming into Gear 5 on Egghead looked like he was wearing his old attire and not the new one that he got on egghead, but then it suddenly appeared once Luffy turned back to normal.
Great video, Tekking. But I'm going with Morj's theory of the "Sun God" being a God's Knight that ate a Shrink Fruit.
22:14 it should also be noted that this may be elbaf steel and needs to not fall apart under the grip of a giant
At 20:00 night probably works like it does in the Truman show studio lights up top to look like the sun and they get turned off at night
The gods knights guy wore an ox skull, and this guy is wearing a moose skull. At least I don't believe deer have antlers like that?
One type of deer from the Mediterranean area does the Fallow Deer, but I assume a Moose since they are in the Norse land which should have Artic ties. Though the Fallow Deer also his ties to Cernunnos a God of nature referred to as the Green Man in many mythologies.
The palms and tines on the antlers look like a Moose, even if some other person tried to claim on Daks stream Moose antlers never come to a point when they rub off their velvet.
I can't help but picture the Deer Skull guy sounding like Mark Hamill
Zero mentioned of all the inconsistencies from the last chapter.
I guess it's really just Oda making a mistake, huh?
I think they are underwater. In Norse mythology there's Ran and Ægir. Ran is a god of the sea that's associated with nets and claims the souls of who are lost at sea. Ægir is a jötnar that represents the ocean that also likes brewing and he hosts the parties of the gods in his halls. I can see two chacters based off those two capturing humans and using them for their hobbies.
Glad they finally found Chopper, now they've just got to escape Lego Land.
Tekking reading chainsaw man has to be one of the biggest WS we’ve gotten so far
What if the Lego house is on a different giant ship and the giant just picks up humans on his trip for his collection?
You actually missed another big inconsistency at the start of this chapter: Last chapter they were all at the bottom of the castle, including Nami who fell down. This chapter starts with with her back on top of it.
Some things I really appreciate about this arc so far, it's super funny already. It feels nice after how heavy the later parts of Egghead were. I guess that's pretty standard for One Piece arcs, but it's still nice. I also love how the mystery was presented over these last few chapters.
The cover art was a tribute to Maggie Smith who died of Cancer sadly. RIP Maggie Smith
Oh, I didn't know that. It was just a few days ago. It's not something Oda could have planned far ahead.

Thing is a place that big SHOULD have its own wind, so I'm going for the theory that everyone has been shrunk and the "sun god" is regular human size.
“Infi-night-um” that’s a cool new word… gonna use that for sure! Thanks Tek!
Thanks for the scream, exactly what my Friday needed😊
When everyone on the great eric was waking up didn't one of the giants mention that they should have been at elbaf by now? I think they got close to elbaf but nobody noticed because they were passed out and someone from elbaf swiped the sunny.
I mean we saw giant fish like Kid saw as he got to Elbaf, I think Dorry and Broggy mentioned giant animals, so at the very least they should be in Elbaf waters with giant fish around the Erik.
This chapter felt like such a fun classic one piece chapter.
I think it's more like Oda didn't have the chance to do some of these jokes lately. Like remember the last time Brook made his panty joke? I swear that was ages ago, and that's pretty crazy to think about.
the gaint wooden door to the peeking room is braced wrong from the outside, how dare Oda not know basic engineering!
Telling: I'll call him grasshopper
My brain: Hopper from stranger things but grass
Off topic but denji screaming for blood donations is one of the funniest things iv ever read.
29:40 Exiled giant: "Screw you I'll make my own Elbaf, with blackjack and tiny people"
Scepter + 🦌 Horns
call me marvel-brained but that Giant is Loki 😭
Sanji is going to completely lose control when he sees the giant valkyries baddies
Little correction: Jörmungandr is the world snake: a snake so big it wraps around the world, the serpent gnawing at the roots of Yggdrasil is Niðhogg.
I love there personalities being dialed up, I laughed a good bit at this chapter
It must be the work of an enemy Stando... but no, seriously, this is the One Piece equivalent of *Jotunheim.*
The Strawhats have seen mirrors before. Especially Luffy. Brulée exists.
I love how Tekking is progressively turning into a Viking.
Every time I am convinced that your channel is a real gem on RUclips. Thank you for your creativity and efforts!🌶🚌🌾
I just realized, plastic exists in One Piece confirmed 😮...
Idk why but as crazy as the world of One Piece is, that just feels out of place lol. Has there ever been any other mention of plastic or has anybody used a water bottle or anything??? Maybe I just overlooked it but I can't remember any..
elbaf is off to a great start
Pretty sure the snake is meant to be Jormungandr, The World Serpent Thor is supposed to fight during Ragnarok.
You're thinking of the dragon Nidhogg that eats at Yggdrasil's roots.
Crazy to see someone coseplay as luffy 😅 this gonna be a good story to hear 😂
I think we need usaop to train his observation haki or at least learn to use it. We gotta get ussop to be our ally detector.
His observation haki is at least twice as far as sanji's in term of range.
I mean he's gotta take out Van Augur and his teleport fruit with observation haki, and also I think he takes down Marcus Mars because in the story of the itsumade the death bird is shot down by a skilled sniper.
Even at 17 meters those Legos would be at least the size of a tissue box. Imagine the forts you could build...
Map. Map is good to have. 🗺👀
I guarantee that someone drunkenly did coup de burst trying to reenact the escape from Ethan at the top of egghead
The sunny going away could be Occam’s razor. Everybody got drunk and passed out. Nobody to sail the ships in these waters means, y,know.. disappearing 😂
