Honestly, I love Ymir's (Founder) transformation and I wish there has been more explanation about the first shifters, including her. It felt so rushed over in the show that I'm still not even sure why specifically we got these 9 types...
@@jrlombardi5251 Can I ask where? I remember her falling down the tree, and the kids cannibalising her, but not why we have those 9 Titans, or why there were 9 and not 3, since she had 3 daughters, or... really what powers the daughters got, and whether they were just Titans or not. Edit: I guess I'd also really like to know what the point of the pure titans is, as well. And how the other Eldians got Titan powers when it was only descendants of Ymir that were told to consume the bodies. Edit 2: and I mean rushed in the sense that the in-depth story of Ymir was only really about 10 minutes, if I remember correctly.
@@UntrainableWizard 1. The power got divided into three when it was just one bc three people ate the body of Ymir, so three people got her power, but they can't just get the same thing three times, it's just one, so it just gor divided into three, that's how we got different titans and with divided powers (that's why eating or drinking something of some other titan can give you the abilities of this one, that's how it all works). And remember the king ordered his three daughters to do the same with their kids, to feed them with their bodies so they could have the powers, that's why it got divided again till there was 9 powers. The thing is that the king didn't know any better and was dying at the time, so just tell them to make it all happen again so they would maintain their power, but with time it's obvious it wouldn't work anymore, dividing the power made it weaker each time and they're not dumb, they wouldn't keep doing it and the obvious solution for it is to just make one person eat the other to get their power, ao it would stay in those they already have, the nine. 2. Yeah, you missed some stuff. The other eldians didn't "get" the titan power, that's not something they can get, it is in fact something just Ymir's blood can get, if you don't have her blood you can't have the power, that's why only the eldians of those periods didn't have it. Remember when Ymir got to the paths for the first time and we saw the coordinate that connects all eldians, we just see three branches bc at the moment there's just three people with Ymir's blood, her daughters, and remember king Fritz ordered his daughter to reproduce and expand Ymir's blood as much as possible, followed by an image of how precious those babies were and how much everyone adored them. Ymir's blood represents her power, her power represents the only way for Eldia to keep everything they have and their golden era. To them expand Ymir's blood was everything, it was too important and it was comanded, so they got crazy about that. The job of those who had her blood also became to have as many kids as possible, and they did. So, yes, everyone with the power has Ymir's blood, every eldian we see today is somehow related to her. To give an example, remember the noble men of season 3 that knew the truth of the world? That's bc their families had very little Ymir's blood, so by the mere fact of having less then the powers don't work as good in them, which is why their memories couldn't be erased. That's why Karl Fritz offered them a deal, their silence in exchange for lands and titles. The only ones that rejected the deal were the Azumabitos and the Ackermans (although they couldn't get their memories erased for different reasons), and that's also why if you have a lot of Ymir's blood, like her direct line, the royal family, you have more power, as Zeke and Historia. And that's also why Mikasa tells Ymir that if it weren't bc she had her daughters then Mikasa herself wouldn't exist, bc she's aware she's not the descendant of just some other eldian, since Ymir's times, being all them aware that they have the power (for like being on the paths for example) they all have to come from Ymir's line, but it's just that their families were more diverse so the blood isn't as pure and present as for someone of her direct line. And I mean, don't really get scared by all of them being "related" bc that's from so long ago that they can't be called family, and in our world we also share ascendants with a ton of people we don't know but after a time not even tests would be able to detect us as related, but here with some unions thousands of years ago it's fine. And idk what you mean by the point of pure titans, they were used as punishment and as a weapon to maintain control, a form to attack their enemies without necessarily using the main nine. They are made by giving someone spinal fluid of titan shifters, although injecting it is the most effective form bc if it's taken in any other way it can go wrong, as with Rod. We know the royal family experimented a lot with the power of the titans on eldians, as with the Ackermans, so it's not weird they made all this stuff and discovered all these things after so many years. 3. I wouldn't really call it just 10 mins like that's it bc it's like two months of content from manga, which is like 90 pages or more which is huge to treat one single topic, making sense as it is something important, but following the pacing the story has always had, so I just don't think it's rushed is the word.
@@jrlombardi5251 Honestly, thank you for this comment, you explain everything so perfectly. :) Does this mean that the Pure Titans are punishment for diluting the power too thinly and ending up with powerless and mindless titans? Or is it more just a general punishment? I also didn't know that the 3 daughters had powers, I think since I've only watched the anime and that bit is never talked about, only that they cannibalize Ymir. I think I understand a lot more the reason why the 9 Titans came about. It sounds to me like I need to read the manga, it sounds like it explains a lot more of the story than the anime does (no shade on the anime, I still absolutely love it). I think there are just a lot of questions that still linger, like Rod Reiss (which I had attributed to his royal blood and an anomaly). Again, thank you for the comment. :D
@@UntrainableWizard 1. No, general punishment, remember what Marley does with them and again how the eldian empire experimented so much with the power. 2. This is not something manga exclusive, the anime shows it too, that's why the kings tells the daughters to all of them reproduce, to all pass the power, to all make their kids eat them so they can get their powers too. 3. Again, it's not about the manga, the anime is super loyal and this isn't a part where they changed stuff, it's just that you missed some parts from it and its meaning. Also, what are you saying that didn't get explained about Rod? As I already described, it was confirmed (both in anime and manga) that the reason why Rod's titan was so big it's because he didn't take the spinal fluid to transforms properly, to get this regular form it needs to be injected as marleyans do, while Rod drank it because Historia broke it. And he was looking for a big amount of people because he was an abnormal, just like Connie's mom, Ymir's pure titan and many others. It had nothing to do with his royal blood, that's not how it works. 4. Thank you for being so nice. I love to talk about this show and I know everything so any question you have about the show, doubt, thing you didn't get or that you think May be wrong, you can ask.
Wtf bro eren ruined the war hammer titans transformation 😂😂😂 liks fr tho l think eren didn't have the patience to wait until war hammer titan finished its transformation

Honestly, thank you for this comment, you explain everything so perfectly. :)
Does this mean that the Pure Titans are punishment for diluting the power too thinly and ending up with powerless and mindless titans?
