I’ve used the rice method, game changer! I haven’t totally removed my nail in a year or more. I just efile my builder gel ! Then either do a file with builder gel or dip using gel method. Happy thanksgiving Marla
Woahhhhh!!!! Thank you for the tip about not using a dryer sheet!!! I always used my old (used) dryer sheets! I never thought of it being too abrasive!!!
Hi Marla, new member her, Cheryl. I saw where a gal got a coffee cup hot plate to set her bowl of water on & then did the rest the same as you. Just an fyi❤ 12:30 am
Marla, I found Dashing Diva Magic Off works amazing. A few drops at the cuticle and it helps lift. Then I use an orange stick to help lift it then I add more drops and boom the nail fall off. Takes less than 5 minutes to get both hands done
I haven't used extensions (yet), but I do my dip soak offs with the acetone and hot water from a prior video of yours. I will have to try the rice, no worry with spilling the water!!!
I swathed from the rice method to the thingy you put cotton balls in...and saturate the cotton balls with acetone. Each hand takes about 5 min. Works for ME...
I want to start making videos while doing my nails and hope to some day get PR from Melody Susie I love their products! The nail drill is something I'm going to get for Christmas! Lol I have a basic one but really want the Melody Susie with nail lap built in! 💜🖤
Happy Thanksgiving, Marla I recently bought the same E-File and finally used it today. Love it!!! Hand piece is super lightweight, rechargeable and the best part it was on sale.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 When I use tips or other nail extensions i remove them this way~~learned from you quite awhile back, it works great. Thinking about putting extensions on now due to breaking a couple nails & then, due to my ocd 😂, having to cut the unbroken nails so they all matched. Thank you for sharing your info with us
Thank you Marla, very cool! I like the rice idea, I am on a struggle bus as far as how to warm the acetone for soak-offs, so this was perfect! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁!
😂😂😅 “they don’t steal my rice”!!!! That was a laugh I needed today thank you 😂. I have 3 girls so I completely understand, my girls would steal well my middle one would take the rice just to make a point haha!!!! Happy thanksgiving to you!
Happy Thanksgiving! I have twin daughters, and although they're grown and on their own... they still steal my stuff! LOL It never ends ;) Enjoy your holiday
I tried the hot soapy oily water soak to remove my press-ons and it had no effect on the waterproof tabs. I just use an orangewood stick and going on from the sides I *gently* slide it up and down the length of my nail until I've worked it off.
I have a stupid question, can I cut the fingertips off a pair of disposable gloves and use that to protect my hands on the lamp. You don't need anything special, do you?
@@MarlaKris do you think the efile really makes a huge difference? I bought a very cheap but highly rated efile on Amazon (like $30 - 40) i am afraid that if I upgraded to one like you use that I would do more damage because there is more power, or would it help me?
I tried the oil and water method, and no, it absolutely did not work, and I ended up with raisin fingers and gummy extensions. I ended up filing and soaking in acetone anyway. 🤣
You had me at “hey weirdo’s”. 😂
🫶🏻🖤
Love your mani suggestions! Also thanks for your support as always xx
Thank you so much MS!! Always a pleasure working with you and your amazing products! ❤️❤️

Used might be ok! I know they’re way softer. But I stick to my Sam’s club paper towels 😂
@@MarlaKris great tip!

I've used your prep suggestions and its been a game changer! Ive also used the heating pad as well. Works very well! Thanks for these videos! ❤️❤️❤️
Outstanding!! You’re so welcome 💞
Thank you for this video! Was there product on top of your full cover extensions or were actually filing the gel nail tip ?

I think you’ll love the 2 in 1 efile/lamp!! 🙌🏻
I use a USED dryer sheet which is very soft when it has been used already in the dryer. It saves on paper towels.
A USED one!! That’s brilliant!
Oh Need this E file! I am so in love! It's a great deal! I was looking to get this for Christmas for myself! Lol
Well this box is just PERFECT!! 🙌🏻
I remove and prep just like you😁🤩😍! Nothing has ever been better. Holy Melody Suzie box😱! Happy Thanksgiving and thank you 🥰😍😘💓
Right?! That box was stuffed just like me after thanksgiving dinner 😂 Happy thanksgiving! 🦃

Marla, is it the same process to remove press-on nails?
Yes! Same exact process 💞
I tried the hot soapy oily water soak to remove my press-ons and it had no effect on the waterproof tabs. I just use an orangewood stick and going on from the sides I *gently* slide it up and down the length of my nail until I've worked it off.
The tabs are one thing.. those are easy! Soapy water did NOTHING for glue! 🙈
I want to see you use those chain thingies!! 🤣
Oh I have big plans 😂
@@MarlaKris I’ll wait here.
What's the ratio of acetone to oil, please?
It’s about 1/4 acetone to 1tbsp oil 💞
Hola
Hi there 👋🏻
Drill! I love Jade!
Marla, she is only 30,000.
You’re right!! 🙈 it’s the Jade pro that’s 35k!
Wish I could do my own nails and save money... But I don't have that kind of time. I have a handicapped son and it would take too long to do this
Press ons might be a great option for you! They’re way less time consuming
Thank you for this video. Too much work for me. I'll stick with my shorties.
I have a stupid question, can I cut the fingertips off a pair of disposable gloves and use that to protect my hands on the lamp. You don't need anything special, do you?
I suppose you could as long as they’re not UV permeable
@@MarlaKris Lol. I wouldn't even know.
I’m not using rice so ig just acetone
I stopped doing my nails because I somehow hurt myself during removal no matter what method I try and I'm very sad :(
Aww no! Please email me or DM me. Maybe I can help 💞
