Ship shape and Bristol fashion, more hard work and fantastic results. Good to see the lads back again, Jordan and Robbo, looking enthusiastic and refreshed. Happy days!! Your all set for the new year now, with the new benches in place and everything organised. The new power pack is going to take a lot of pressure off your increasing power requirements. A lot has been achieved in this episode, well done. As ever, I can't wait for the next one.
It brings home how far you've come in yet another tangible way: you've more than doubled your work space from the look of it! Thanks for another happy Friday!
Both of you are a legend. Commitment and dedication with not many that would stick it out on the estuary, hard enough on the hard in some boatyard. Cheers.
Love the Echo Flo hat. Great idea. I could have used one years ago And I love watching y'all install copper nails. I think because the 2 of you have to cooperate so closely on a boring job. Not many couples could do what you do. Suggestion. I don't know what you call them across the pond, but you really need a step drill. Occasionally referred to as a christmas tree drill. You were redrilling for a larger hole. Modern 135 degree split drill bits are not made for that. They only cut at the point. The way you are using them is slow and destroys the bit much faster than just normal wear. A step drill is made for the job and in the long run will cost you less money. Love your channel!
I don’t think I ever watch your channel without laughing-you guys are a spark of life for sure! Love your personalities and how you make light of things. The witch hat cuts the mustard for the humor ratings today!
Copper nailing. Many years ago on a course the boat builder suggested dipping the top of the nail in silicon grease, just a smidgen, before hammering in. Easier to knock in and slightly assist with waterproofing too.
You guys are truly amazing! Two thoughts: how about a little portable gas stove for making tea? Electric kettles really use a lot of lectric. And how about old pallets to stand on in the mud?
The fact you have now have a four birth boat with open accommodation and a quieter generator and a clean space to work in and racks for timber. what a show Crack on and be safe
That was an absolute gorgeous background catch, even though you're standing working your butt off in the mud when you turned around and looked up at the clouds that was absolutely spectacular. The colors and the beauty. I enjoy your content and I always enjoy watching to see what you're doing to restore something. That was so beat up and you guys are doing wonderful. I think you have done a magnificent job on this little boat and I think it will last you a long, long time❤❤❤❤❤❤
Whenever I sort/tidy my workshop I can’t find a bloody thing when I start my next project. You both achieved so much , along with the helpers, in this vlog. Thanks for sharing.
I watch you guys from the US , I've been watching for just a few months now, I enjoy it tremendously, you guys rock. I get your notification on my phone but watch it on my Roku TV.
First, you guys are amazing technically. The task is astounding and every episode I think how overwhelming it must be. But your relationship is really special. Your sense of fun and combining hard work with joking and the unexpected is really special! Both of you are a breath of fresh air! ❤
Fantastic episode, both of and your helpers have worked so hard and achieved so much .very uplifting episode ,what a productive few months honestly it's brilliant x
When I trained as an Engineer with the Ministry of Defence using Rivets we used a solid piece of steel like a chisel being cut off with the dimple the shape of the mushroom head and then you just put the solid piece of metal on the none formed rivet end hit it with the hammer and you get the perfect mushroom end
Fave channel at the moment. Real people show what a tonne of hard work can accomplish. I love seeing your progress and it's so satisfying seeing the results. 😊
Re the sound deadening. Try to isolate the generator from the deck. This will stop the deck from acting like an amplifier. You could get some acoustic isloation feet or springs. That will make a big difference. Good luck. Great video's guys. 😊😊
Hey - when you burn a finger like that, press it to your earlobe. Don't laugh - it works. There is so much blood supply to the ear lobe, it works as a heat sink. The heat and pain will dissipate quickly.
If you have lots of those roves to drill... Invest in a hand punch, often called a stanley hand punch, they save so much time and are a lot easier than a drill and will leave a nice crisp hole.
Very nice organisation. This step prove your global progress. In Brittany Oister professionnel people used before large pièces of wood fixed under their foot to walk on the mud. Perhaps it would helm you to try 😂 Its always a pleasure to watch you videos since the begining of the project.
12/13/2024 Hello Ship. Merry CHristmas. I still enjoy your project. Simon, you need to have a sea hag for the bow. My suggestion would be a great carving of gemma smiling. What else? Merry Christmas. Don usa
Lift the gen and make a sprung platform that it sits on. It needs to be isolated from the deck
Your organization will make your work so much more effortless
Looking better every time, great work, nailed it!

Great content, what makes it is you guys having fun even though its hard work. Good to have a restart on the workstations.
Looking great, that tidy up will make everything feel easier!
Another delightful episode. Had a smile on my face the whole way through.
What you guys do is awesome I've been watching for three years love the content good job

You are so conscientious with the clearing of rubbish. Good on you.
I spent a hole week sorting out my workshop, wow my productivity increased by about 200 %. Well done everyone.
Both of you are a legend. Commitment and dedication with not many that would stick it out on the estuary, hard enough on the hard in some boatyard. Cheers.
With the hat you guys crack me up. So good to see happy people.
Wow... what an episode..
"gzzzzzz ... not yet"

Keep going shipmates..

Try and pull a pallet out of that mud…
The pallets could be tied to the boat, tide would wash them and then they could be hauled in ?
Well done 😊
Salvage companies use inflatable mats on soft mud. They pump up pretty hard, can put decking pads on them. They wash clean in the water.
I thought the same last night.
I don't know how you guys keep going - I'm exhausted just watching you!
The fact you have now have a four birth boat with open accommodation and a quieter generator and a clean space to work in and racks for timber. what a show Crack on and be safe
Some real progress guys...congratulations. Life aboard can be far more enjoyable and creative now!
That was a lovely moment when you went out onto the deck to see the sunset, that fore end looks really good.

You guys deserve proper recognition for your efforts. What a fantastic achievement… your Royal Navy should be flipping you a few thousand quid… 🇨🇦
I agree that you two are great people doing great things always watching from northwest Indiana
You might consider some sort of fan cooling for the generator. You could easily burn it up running it inside a closed box. Ask me how I know!
It has 2 open ends
Nice to see the old lady Sarinda, changing figure and getting younger every episode with your tremendous work. Hip Hip Hooray.
Great work guys, well done.
I so look forward to Fridays to see you both working so hard it will so good when you finish
Ouch that hurts 🥰 Embrace the power of Timelapse ❤️ Can’t stop looking at those awesome beams ❤️
... and I love the solar-powered hat! Genius!
That new benches in th bow! Looks fantastic! Well done to you all for the effort you have made to make the boat look crisp inside
Great work there by everyone, now you can steam ahead with the next stage of the renovation 👍
Congratulations you nailed it
I have been sitting waiting for Episode 205 - brilliant.
First, you guys are amazing technically. The task is astounding and every episode I think how overwhelming it must be. But your relationship is really special. Your sense of fun and combining hard work with joking and the unexpected is really special! Both of you are a breath of fresh air! ❤
🤣🤣 You two are hilarious. 🤣🤣 The hat thing is so funny. It’s so great that you can have fun with such things.
I LOVE Simons giggle!
Me too !!!
Not bad. Average urban noise level is 50 to 60 decibels.
The hard part of organizing everything is to keep it that way. 2 thumbs up!
Fantastic episode, both of and your helpers have worked so hard and achieved so much .very uplifting episode ,what a productive few months honestly it's brilliant x
Love the power hat! 😊
Your content is always amazing guy's from day one, never a dull moment 👍.

Nice to see you using some quality Wurth products!
Fave channel at the moment. Real people show what a tonne of hard work can accomplish. I love seeing your progress and it's so satisfying seeing the results. 😊
Wow, thank you!
I keep expecting to see Simon fall face first into that mud when his boots get stuck. I know that would happen to me for sure.
Yay, Friday; payday, weekend off, and A NEW SARINDA VIDEO!
Have a great weekend!
@@ShipHappensUK likewise to you and your kiddos!
Love the solar hat...

She’s looking lovely though , you are strong Gemma 👍🏻
Came through so well great few days work and hi to all your team
Nice to see the ship, Ship Shape........👍👍
Maybe try heating the nails with the propane torch before you cut it. Should soften the copper and work harden them as their cut.
Looking better fancy popping over to flint to tidy up my garage 😅😅

MI6 interview room sound deadening
Hi, from the great state of Washington
78 copper nails that’s a lot of money
Every so often I just need to spend a few days reorganizing, and putting things away between tasks/jobs.
Looks nice!
Great Job with this organizing now it should be a little easier to continue with project
Beware the empty horizontal surface.
Nice looking work. I'm in the process of building a workshop to build the cabinetry to go inside my sailboat. Building a workshop is a lot of work.
Fantastic ❤❤
Thanks 🤗
Love the tea cup lol 😆😆😆
It's really coming along great.
Simons giggle when the phone started charging from his hat was pure gold.
Watching from South Carolina paint the boat time
Great video thanks lee
I lost it with the Gemma's hat comment, lol
Build a boat length floating deck that will rise with the boat you could tie it off to the boat or anchor it to the ground.
If you have lots of those roves to drill... Invest in a hand punch, often called a stanley hand punch, they save so much time and
are a lot easier than a drill and will leave a nice crisp hole.
I've seen people fully enclose the genny box and use a couple usb fans at either end to run air through and keep it cool.
How about one of those anti vibration mats for under he genny box? I had one under my washer in my flat and it worked really well.
Great video. Thank you 👍🏻

G'day guys 🎉
Great work!
Great progress guys, the sort out will really be of benefit later so well done. 👍👍👏👏
Oh, more of those sunset pics wouldn't go amiss either. 😉
Top job, looks daunting but I'm sure you got the goods, very impressive 👏
Good work guys, 5 dBA feels like a doubling in noise level. Cheers Peter from downunder.
Getting ShipShape!!!
Simply fantastic 👍
Thanks a lot 😊
Love from Ohio
Little jobs tick off the list to help keep the boat more tidy and find the tools that go missing 😊
You want 3/4” copper roves for those nails. Readily available from seaware
The subtitles are epic.
Is there a holiday fundraiser Simon Swimsuit calendar in the works?
Perhaps a visit to the shearer to mow those patchy patches.
Awsom work u pair. Love the episodes
