I really enjoyed your answers Sarah. Loved your memories of reading before napping and whilst fishing 😊. Ronald Dahl would be so interesting to chat to and that mud, arming book looks fabulous 😊. Thanks for doing the tag

I loved this talk. Yes, The kindergarten book is what you read to the teacher who approved your entry. When grammy bought your books, Joey always got a Sonic or Nintendo magazine. Your allowance for you kids was the amount of your age every two weeks. So when you were 8, you got $8.00 twice a month. That was a lot of money in the 80's! I loved our book stack reading. We would keep the stacks in the order you brought them in and if we did not finish them all, we would keep them on the coffee table and you could add a couple to the bottom of the pile the next day! I am so glad you love to read. Love, mom

Oh my word, I had “We Love Kindergarten” and loved it too! I saw the thumbnail and gasped - I totally forgot about that book. I was also an avid Babysitters Club reader, and they were the only books I owned (all money saved went solely to that series). Unfortunately, my mom’s basement flooded when I was in college and all of my old books from childhood were ruined. I would have loved to share The Babysitters Club with my 12-year-old daughter now. I’m 45, so I’m not surprised by the overlap of loved books.😊

Oh no! Yes, look for them --- they're all over the place and pretty reasonably priced. My daughters are obsessed but they've actually proven useful as they're great babysitters to their baby nephews now!

The Princess Bride book was extremely hard to read! 😅 It was a story within a story. Very choppy! I have a fun memory attached to it, because I had to sit in a laundry mat, waiting for our laundry at family camp and I read it then. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪🤣

Haha! It's funny the things we associate with reading experiences!
