    Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.

    If you are all curious as to how you can find out what seat you'll be flying on, there's 2 ways, 1, using flightradar24, after you figure out your tail number, you can check which seat the aircraft has on this list:
    sites.google.com/site/newamericanfleet/american-mainline/boeing-777-200er
    Where B/E = This seat
    Zodiac = The "coffin" seat
    Another way to figure out is through the seat map, starting around 24 hours after departure, AA will depict seats facing backwards with a a little triangle within the seat map.

    Nice video, I'm sure it took some time and effort to put together. Nice to see a video from my home airport, MIA. Have flown on the AA 772 dozens of times. Those "backwards/forwards? Zodiac seats are definitely a disappointment, though fortunately I've only got that configuration maybe 25% of the time. My favorite seat is 6L. It's in the private little "nook" where nobody is across the aisle from you, though the Super Diamond seat really is great no matter where in the cabin you are sitting. One more thing: I'm an AA million miler (almost a two million miler) and I have to say, I have have never, ever had a bad experience with AA cabin crew. Sure, some have been "just by the book" doing the service, but more often than not they are friendly, engaging and do a wonderful job.

    • @seablock1
      @seablock1 3 года назад

      I like the 6L too. Seat Guru warns that it is close to the bathroom but flying 6L two times, I never noticed any traffic. I just switched again to 6L for a Tuesday flight as business is a little full and my wife agreed to sit in 7L instead of the two open L seats in 9 and 10.

    If I’m sitting forward of the engines, the GE-90 is my favorite; you can’t beat that spool up and full throttle sound. But if I’m sitting right next to the engines, like in premium economy, then the PWs are my favorite. You can still hear the buzz, even though the you can’t see the fan! If I’m in regular economy, behind the engines, then 🤷🏽‍♂️.

    I'll have all kind of experience with AA. They are so inconsistant in some things, some flights I was told to stop recording the plane by the FA. By the other side, in another flight FA where so nice and intrested in our hobby. Got from low expectations and get surprised, as also expecting at least a sandwich or cheese option in a 2.5hr International long flight and only get 2 bags of pretzels instead of one. Looking foward to fly on 772 seats by September, but already tried the 77W one (the best definitely). We can be agree that most of B788 BC suks. Excellent work, always watch your videos and inspiring me to make trip reports in my region (Central America) KEEP GOING!

    Ironic how Emil's AA flight is arriving at a 'Delta' gate! Those RR's don't have the same growl as the GE 90's--I haven't flown AA in years,ever since the MD-80's have been retired,I have informally abandoned the company,preferring Delta but with their MD-88's now retired,have for the time being,mentally put DL as #2 option,am tempted to try SWA next time to AZ to see family--I have never flown any carrier's Triple 7 fleet,much less their business class cabin so am completely out of the loop as to seating styles--as for a future flight routing,maybe its time to exercise your passport and head to Tahiti,sample Air Tahiti Nui or do the Island Hopper but EB from Guam to Honolulu--Canada from what I know is still closed to US visitors--did notice that there has been a months-long lag between this video and uploading date--on the IFE,there were news items dated from September of last year.

    Love the RR engines!!! For me, American is soooo inconsistent with their product. I fly out of PHX and they almost always let me down with an inferior product. Since every aircraft they have is equipped with a dozen different interiors, its potluck whether you get a good one. I haven't flown AA for 5 years because of it, especially when there are so many better airlines out there. Im willing to spend more, fly more stops to a different airline hub than fly the one in my own backyard. I will say I finally decided to give them a try a week ago to SAN and they really impressed me with the inflight service (on such a short flight) and great crew members/aircraft. So Im willing to give them another chance. Wish me luck!

    • @ITripReport

      Its a bit complicated, basically what you'll want to do is figure out the tail number of your aircraft (usually through flightradar24), then, I double check with sites.google.com/site/newamericanfleet/american-mainline/boeing-777-200er, where Zodiac = coffin seats, and B/E = the super diamond. Sadly there's no way to guarantee you'll get either seat when booking, (unless you book less than 48 hours in advanced).

    Miami to Dallas isn’t a flagship route. Domestically it’s solely JFK-LAX, JFK-SFO, and LAX-MIA. That same plane to lax nonstop you would’ve had much higher tiered food, cold pressed juice, espresso, a comforter and pillow pack, amenity kits, 3 reds, 3 whites, actual champagne, noise cancel headphones, four option menu for entree, and more still even in these times! It REALLY does make a difference domestically which routes you take and the experience you get on the plane.
