    Good tip on telling me to put it in the freezer to get that piece out, it didn't want to budge before and I wanted to avoid prying it out with a screwdriver as you had warned against that. Stuck it in the fridge for an hour and she slid right out, nice and easy! Now I just need to find instructions on removing & replacing the motor bearing. Mine hasn't failed yet but it feels very rough, especially compared to the upper bearing which is still buttery smooth.

    Around the 6:45-7:10 mark, you reinstall the pump motor and have the same issue I'm having, which is getting those bolts to find the hole. There's nothing to guide them in correctly. I've been fighting this for 30 minutes. You kind of cut away and then came back and said "ok tighten these down". So what happened in between, and do you have any tips or suggestions on getting this straight?

    Any ideas on how to replace that frozen bearing. I don’t have a cash to buy a new armature. Curious if you have had to remove one and how you did it? Thanks

    which way does the seal go in?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  5 лет назад +1

      The numbers in the seal go against the metal or motor side. So flat side against the aluminum

      I've got a 20+ year old version of this pump (Magnaflow) that I just rebuilt a week ago, never had anything done to it except cleaning the filter. Been running e85 through it for 14 years. VERY solid pumps.

    Where did you have it installed on you F-body? Can you do a video on your fuel system?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  7 лет назад +1

      Currently its installed where the drivers rear exhaust hanger was. I built a bracket to hold it sideways with the weep hole down. I could do a video on the fuel system, but that will take a while with my current schedule. Here is a quick run down, -12 AN with a bung in the bottom of the stock plastic tank to the Pump, -10 hose to the magnafuel reg and - 8 quick connects to each carb bowl. ( Oh and a - 8 return from the pump to the side of the tank.)
      So far this pump supported my 632 NA at 937 wheel hp on E85 and my blow through LS at 26 lbs.

    Try and do a video on it when you can please. I have a Areomotive Pro Series pump, but I cant find a place to mount it so I might have to get something like yours. I will have to get one that will support about 1400hp. Check my instagram.com/606hillbillyracer. I would put a pic of where I have the Pro mounted at, but people would be like how stupid is this guy. It is right behind the rear bumper.

      Procharger or turbo?

      Thanks! It has took me along time to get to where it is now. They are a big story about why the car isn't done. I will tell it one day when I start making videos. I don't think that the channel would do very good cause I would only maybe get one or two out a mouth.
