Here we have the talented singers performing on stage, and the fans have paid for tickets to experience this performance, and yet the fans insist on singing along, loudly, off-key and horribly, in a multitude of voices, which only drowns out the actual music. By singing along with your untrained, untalented voices so loudly that you drown out the true singers, you are showing disrespect to the stage performers, and you are showing no regard for the rest of the audience. The audience is there to hear the talented performers sing, NOT to hear the unskilled audience members sing badly. I recognize that teen fans want to express their devotion to the performers by demonstrating that they have memorized all the lyrics to their songs, but this practice of singing along is stupid, childish and obnoxious. If the stage performers invite the audience to sing along, then it's on them. Otherwise, a respectful audience should keep quiet! LET THE TRAINED PERFORMERS BE HEARD.
