I didn't disrespect Michele because she played a social game. It's because she attended only six tribals, and in one of the cancelled tribals she could be voted out, so she was extremely lucky. She needed no such luck this season. That being said, with all the chaos of that season, she was still a bit underwhelming.
Apparently she would’ve gotten some votes in the end but the ones who originally were gonna vote Michele went with Tony since they were afraid that Nat would get the win. Tony also said that Michele should’ve gotten some votes in postgame interviews
Don’t say never. She was on right side of the Danni, Ethan, Yul, Tyson, Sophie, Adam, and Ben votes. She mostly left out of votes because of how scared everyone was if she could get a solid footing in the majority
I love her pre-merge game with the Ethan and Yul boot - I love her in Sophie boot, the two immunity wins and 50/50 coin flip. She has proven a lot of haters wrong this season. Been a fan since Kaoh Rong!
One of my favourite things about her this season was that at a certain point into the game she knew she was such an underdog that she took the attitude of just wanting to cause some chaos and shake things up. Plus she had some pretty amusing confessionals. And the woman is absolutely clutch at challenges, she pulls it out when she really needs it
The biggest dark horse in survivor history. The character development she had on the last 3 hour special went from “how is she still here” to “how’d she get no votes” is crazy.
People discrediting Michelle's winner at war journey are just bitter. Michelle was able to made her way through the game. Gained tokens for her relationships with people and won in every critical situations. Kudos to you Michelle
Huh? She won in every Crucial aspect huh? I don’t remember Hearing Jeff say “and the winner of Survivor winners at war Michelle” pretty sure that’s the most crucial part of the game to win
Also the people saying Michele played a bad game for almost never voting correctly are the same people who rooted for 4th boot Rick Devens to win. Spencer also voted incorrectly a lot in Cagayan, but no one gave him crap for that. This is what we call gender bias.
@@nabilpapu739 She was number for who? she wasnt in aliances as a number. And jury didnt voted even tho they wanted to but were scared if the split votes between her and Tony, Natalie would win. Get your facts right if u wanna talk shit, look up some interviews post game
I always love Michele. Was rooting for her on Kaoh Rong and was rooting for her this season. Tony played such a badass game and deserved his win, but Michele should have got the 2nd place at least, and not Natalie. I am saying this with no hate towards Nat as she did great on the edge. Still hurt that she didn't get a single vote from the jury. She played an amazing social game, as she always does. I hope she'll play again. :D
I really am sad that she didn’t get any votes when in my opinion she consistently embodies what survivor is... it’s not always being a cult leader... it’s staying true to your self and sticking with what you got every round and fighting tooth and nail to keep yourself alive.... I understand Tony’s win but it’s so hard to support him in a finale when you get to see half of his alliance literally have no brain of their own
Wait so it's about purposefully playing poorly, putting yourself in the minority, voting all of your allies out, and having to rely on a flawed twist(the edge of extinction returnee) to keep you as a goat until the finale? ah yes, good gameplay.
Will Rambo no it’s about using your ability to form relationships to stay alive... you clearly have no value for social skills in survivor and that’s really all this comes down to... people who notice the social gameplay of survivor can tell michele literally is one of the best as she is able to keep herself alive in both of her seasons solely off of connections and building trust through her actions
@@cameronwoolard6011 You're right, sometimes in survivor building relationships is all it takes, but if that's all you can do, you're not a great player. A great player can build relationships and then use them to enact strategies of their choosing, that's what Tony did this season. Also, Michelle relies a lot on luck in survivor. Last time, it was the Joe medivac that saved her from being eliminated in fifth after Aubrey won immunity. This time, the edge twist saved her. She got very very lucky Natalie came back with an idol, she didn't plan for that to happen. Without edge, Michelle comes in 5th once again. Also, a good social player in survivor can make the jury respect them despite how they played, which she successfully did last time, but not this time (she got roasted in some of the jury speaks videos). I have a lot of value in social skills in survivor, which is why I think Russell is a bad player. But where did her social skills come into play this season? She was targeted a lot, and relied on immunity wins to be safe, which are yet another luck based thing. What if the card challenge was a more physical challenge? She comes in 7th, that's what. What if the tower challenge had a different puzzle that didn't cater to her skills instead of a puzzle she already knows? She comes in 6th. Michelle was completely clueless throughout the post merge, which is demonstrated by her constantly building the wrong alliances, and then *NOT BEING A GOOD ENOUGH PLAYER* to keep her allies in the game.
@@rambo8550 Aubry never won immunity in KR ever, she won 1 reward challenge at the final 4. There was no IC at the final 5 in KR, Joe was evacuated before the IC.
Michelle had a good plan, but Nick blew it. Had Nick made the logical move, he would have flipped his vote at final 7 and blindsided Ben. Him and Michelle could have pretty much dictated the rest of the game.
Michelle did good in this season and she would have won if natile or tony didn’t have an amazing game, she did very good and he played from the bottom and she made it to the end.
Sue Hensterman the jury would’ve picked her over Natalie people wanted to vote for her so she’d get second over nat but since nat had 4 locked in votes they got nervous and just voted for tony all Tony’s votes would’ve went to Michel and Sarah and one of them would likely one
I'm glad that Jeff spoke about the after-effects of playing Survivor in the real world. I remember seeing a video where Jeremy also spoke on this. Glad to see that they acknowledge how this affects their mental health
shukri nur Jeremy and Kelley worked together a few times but they were never aligned. A better example would be Tasha. But what I meant was his main strategy is to align with the big muscly guys so when “big threats” are targeted they’ll go before him. Michele was the single least threatening winner coming into this season, so it was interesting to see him latch onto her like that.
People say she she was on the wrong side of the votes so much but that’s incorrect. She was only out of the first few votes and then controlled nearly all of premerge and played the middle perfectly postmerge keeping the target off herself until nick screwed her indefinitely with the Jeremy vote. Only towards the end was she the true underdog where she couldn’t sway anyone.
B Cars In a way Michele also controlled the premerge with the Ethan blindside, Nick and Michele were the ones that could have voted out Wendell but instead blindsided Yul, she still had Parvati's trust when they voted her out and could have betrayed her, she definitely played the game very well. The only bad thing was she could've taken out Tony earlier when Nick won immunity because he hadn't use his idol in that vote, Nick, Jeremy and Michele could have blindsided him. That's what I think she should have done to have a chance but overall the final three should have deserve their spots because they all took different paths to get there. Oh and also she could have explained what she did in the premerge to them to maybe earn a couple of votes.
Guess her social game wasn't good enough to sway anyone huh? Also, she had a stretch of being out of the loop 4 votes in a row. She had a 50% accuracy rate post merge, 5/10.
I absolutely loved Michele in Winners at War. Despite being on the bottom during the post-merge phase, she did amazing as she won two immunities and fought her way into the final 3. Tony was definitely a great player but I’m a bit frustrated that Michele didn’t receive any votes in the finale. She really should have received at least a few/couple votes imo.
I don’t even know why Michele haters are in the comments... Why are you guys even watching this video if all you’re going to do is preach about how her game paled in comparison to other players? We’re here to appreciate her and her game. ❤️
Michelle is a great player. She is the only player who has played twice or more who never got her torch snuffed. Like her or not, there would always be hater and I’m used to it. Say whatever you want about Michelle, I still think she is one of the best and I’ve been rooting for her since Kaoh Rong. She wasn’t carried to the end in both times she played and she made it to the end twice being such a contender. Indeed my all time favourite player after Sandra.
Survivor Legend 68 and neither did Jenna Morasca or Colton, but they were all eliminated at one point for various reasons. Michele is the only survivor contestant to never be eliminated, and one of 4 to make it all the way to the end on her first 2 tries (as well as Amanda Kimmel, Russell Hantz, and Sandra)
Why is she one of the best? Where does she excel in survivor? I'm genuinely curious as a Michele disliker why some people think she's a good player. Physical game: not bad, wins sometimes, not great at obstacle courses, but good at puzzles. Strategic: None. Never able to utilize bonds to make things happen(and I don't mean big movez). Constantly clueless to the strategy happening around her. Lets her allies get voted out one by one.Relies a lot on luck to have any chance (can elaborate if necessary) Social: People *say* it's good, but not any better than most others. Especially this season, she kept making the wrong alliances and could never sway anyone to do what she wanted, not even to do things in their own best interest, and that's saying something. The majority of the jury didn't respect her game (some people talked about it in the jury speaks videos), which is the most indicative thing of a good social game. I will hand it to her that she did that last time, whereas Aubrey did not. However she did rely on a medivac, which was part of her luckiness.
Will Rambo you know that the video was taken during final 4 right? And also, not MAJORITY only like 3 players said that. The others praised Michelle and said that she didn’t just being a follower or float around. She worked her ass off against all odds to make it to the final 3
Korean with Naz she put herself in a position to have to work harder. One could say Tony worked hard at the social and strategic part of the game, whereas Michelle failed in those 2 areas and had to rely on luck to get to the end and not get respected by the jury
I’m so proud that she was able to eliminate the controversy from her win! She’s one of the most masterful low key strategists and I hope she plays again!
Tony even said in postgame interviews she should’ve got some votes. A few were going to vote Michele but they were afraid that Natalie would be a repeat of Chris Underwood two seasons ago so they went Tony just in case
Michele definitely played an outstanding game in WAW. As she said if Tony made it to the end he’d win and he did but she had no power or chances to take him out so everyone else basically handed him the win lol.
Michelle is really a great player. She is always at the bottom, she is always on the outs. But she always managed to outlast every single threat that comes to her way. I mean she could have made great moves like Tony but nobody just doesn't want to team up with her which saddens me.
Lets rephrase "no one wants to team up with her" shall we? "She played a bad social game and made the wrong alliances which resulted in her being on the bottom for the entire post merge"
@@rambo8550 actually just the fact that no one wants to play with her like for real. She have a good social game with the girls like Parvati at the start, and Natalie in the end. Because they dont see her as a threat and always just a number to them.
@@rcencabo6863 No one saw her as a threat, it wasn't said once. Tony even said she shouldn't have been in the final 6. Also, a good social game is one that is between everyone in the game. Being friends with a few people isn't a good social game. Also, if people don't want to work with you, that's indicative of a bad social game. You could literally make the statement "No one wanted to work with them" about anyone that's ever been voted out of survivor, and guess what, it still won't mean anything, because it's your responsibility to make people want to work with you;
Michelle probably played the best 3rd place game since the format has changed to a F3. If she sits next to anyone but Tony or Sarah in the final 7 I think she wins. She did everything she needed to make it to the end and was one of the only people willing to take out the power duo of Tony and Sarah. Her only competition would probably be Russell in HvV, however, he had no shot of beating anyone in that cast other than maybe Danielle.
Even then, she had a chance agaisnt Sarah. And if Michele won firemaking, she also had a bigger chance tbh. The reality is that all 3 played winning games. Just Tony had the best winning game out of the 3. Michele imo, had the 2nd best in that trio.
I actually didn't remember who Michelle even was at first, and as it slowly came back to me, I recalled thinking that she was an odd choice. But it saddened me to think that she would so internalize criticism from the peanut gallery. Why should she care what a bunch of Internet trolls say? They can't stop her from spending her money. Rob is right: "When you win, you win. End of story."
I don’t care what any Aubry stan says..she’s my dark horse winner and is way more relatable for me at least. Michele has the ability to build relationships naturally.
Michele was like Sandra in Heroes vs Villains this season, being right about the biggest threat and people not listening to her and keeping her on the outs.
If I can say, I love how she played this game than Tony. Yes, Tony had a more strategic and aggressive game but he didnt have something to prove but Michelle did. She had a good underdog story that peole would easily relate to that. Well, being out of the loop every single vote but you can still got to the final 3 without a strong alliance was cool

@@a.jdeets5527 imo while sophie played an amazing game this season, she was sent home with an idol in her pocket while michelle went all the way on made it to the very end and won more individual immunities than sophie, while outlasting her entirely in the game.

While I still don’t feel she deserved her first win over Aubry, she definitely proved herself this time around. Good player, just gets outplayed by people like Tony in the end
Fair to say. To me Aubry, Michele and Cydney played such equal level games. Aubry a little higher. But all 3 deserved it. In WaW the F3 played winner games. But Tony deserved it the most by a long shot. Thats how I view it. She always played agaisnt players and competitors thats for sure.
Underrated player! I think she really deserved to recivie at least some votes from jurors because to be an underdog in a season with all winner to be always on the bottom but to make final 3 is really not easy!
Michelle had a strong friendship/alliance coming into the game with Adam. She had to act like she was blindsided on the first vote in order for them to gain intel from both sides of the tribe.
I used to say she was a goat this season; however, I changed my mind about it. She definitely played just as hard as Parvati did in HvsV. Unfortunately people didn’t see through very well at the end.
It’s crazy how Michelle didn’t get any votes, but almost everyone that voted for Tony said they were on the fence between Tony and Michelle and would not vote Natalie because “her torch was snuffed.” Really shows that Michelle really should’ve gotten second

And the woman is absolutely clutch at challenges, she pulls it out when she really needs it
That conversation with Robb was great.
if he learned to play more like her, he couldve done much better this season
And he's right. If you win you win, you obviously did something to deserve it
The biggest dark horse in survivor history.
@@memeview2566who asked you incel
She proved me wrong - she was great. I personally think she beats anyone in the finale other than Tony
She didnt even beat natalie though
Marco Muralles anyone but Natalie and Tony I think so to
Glen Capshaw not sarah or kim or jeremy
She loses to everyone except maybe Ben and MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE Nick
She doesn't beat Sarah
Also the people saying Michele played a bad game for almost never voting correctly are the same people who rooted for 4th boot Rick Devens to win. Spencer also voted incorrectly a lot in Cagayan, but no one gave him crap for that. This is what we call gender bias.
^^^
Bc he didn’t win
She did not played real survivor game.
She was just number 🤣🤣🤣
I am glad that Jury did not give here even a single vote 🤣🤣
What if I think all 3 of them played a bad game
I understand Tony’s win but it’s so hard to support him in a finale when you get to see half of his alliance literally have no brain of their own
Especially when much of them were pregame alliances.
I’m ashamed to say that I was low on her going into the season but she definitely won me over. Phenomenal job Michelle!
I feel like she deserved the votes natalie got
Sue Hensterman the jury would’ve picked her over Natalie people wanted to vote for her so she’d get second over nat but since nat had 4 locked in votes they got nervous and just voted for tony all Tony’s votes would’ve went to Michel and Sarah and one of them would likely one
She would have lost 2 Sarah 😁😁😁😁
Michelle is now the only Winner who returned and was never voted out. Noice.
As she should
Periodt
Only returnee in general 💅✨💯
Technically, Jenna Morasca played twice and was never voted out
@@MP-ef9yo yeah but she left the game early. It's not really the same
Michelle was really fun to watch this season. I found myself rooting for her most of the season even if I knew she didn’t have a chance to win
I'm glad that Jeff spoke about the after-effects of playing Survivor in the real world. I remember seeing a video where Jeremy also spoke on this.
Glad to see that they acknowledge how this affects their mental health
Her and Jeremy’s friendship was my favourite dynamic this season
It was surprising since Michele is the opposite of Jeremy’s typical ally.
Christopher Herrera looking back Jeremy has worked with a lot of amazing female players like Natalie Michele Kim Kelley Wentworth
shukri nur Jeremy and Kelley worked together a few times but they were never aligned. A better example would be Tasha. But what I meant was his main strategy is to align with the big muscly guys so when “big threats” are targeted they’ll go before him. Michele was the single least threatening winner coming into this season, so it was interesting to see him latch onto her like that.
Christopher Herrera they had a pregame alliance actually Michele and Jeremy
@@coqui9879 I would argue that Amber, Danni, Adam, are less threatening.
Michele: "Is this gonna be awkward?"
Wendell: "................nope!"
Narrator: "It was, in fact, awkward."
Omg is this arrested development 😍
She actually deserved to be in the final 3. If she did win, it would not frustrate me. I preferred her over Nat.
She really should have received at least a few/couple votes imo.
love the conversation between her and Rob. Felt like a father-daughter relationship to me
she was really my favorite to watch this season! all the love and respect for her!
I don’t even know why Michele haters are in the comments... Why are you guys even watching this video if all you’re going to do is preach about how her game paled in comparison to other players? We’re here to appreciate her and her game. ❤️
I gotta say, her edits this season really showed off her strength in terms of her social game.
Actually Michael skupin never got voted out
Survivor Legend 68 and neither did Jenna Morasca or Colton, but they were all eliminated at one point for various reasons.
Lets her allies get voted out one by one.Relies a lot on luck to have any chance (can elaborate if necessary)
Social: People *say* it's good, but not any better than most others.
I was hoping she would get at least one vote! She was awesome
She definitely proved that she deserved her first win and that is coming from a huge Aubry fan
Same
Tony did have a better game than Michele, but Michele is EASILY #2. She was the best out there besides Tony. Even better than Sarah in my opinion 👸
Disagree.
Agreed I love Natalie but she was the first one out Michelle deserved those votes🤷🏾♂️
Tony even said in postgame interviews she should’ve got some votes. A few were going to vote Michele but they were afraid that Natalie would be a repeat of Chris Underwood two seasons ago so they went Tony just in case
Sarah played better than Michele did, but Michele probably played the third best game of the season.
Michele definitely played an outstanding game in WAW. As she said if Tony made it to the end he’d win and he did but she had no power or chances to take him out so everyone else basically handed him the win lol.
Don't get me wrong but Michelle did so damn good in this season.
There’s no way to get this wrong
Michelle is a Queen! I think she deserves to win. She is amazing. ❤️❤️❤️ I am a fan already
@@rcencabo6863 No one saw her as a threat, it wasn't said once. Tony even said she shouldn't have been in the final 6. Also, a good social game is one that is between everyone in the game. Being friends with a few people isn't a good social game. Also, if people don't want to work with you, that's indicative of a bad social game. You could literally make the statement "No one wanted to work with them" about anyone that's ever been voted out of survivor, and guess what, it still won't mean anything, because it's your responsibility to make people want to work with you;
That Boston Rob and Michelle moment this made me cry ❤️
Impressive she made it to the finals again. She’s under rated.
She’s so massively underrated. The only player in Survivor history to never have their torch snuffed and a great competitor as well!!
She was a lucky goat
I actually didn't remember who Michelle even was at first, and as it slowly came back to me, I recalled thinking that she was an odd choice. But it saddened me to think that she would so internalize criticism from the peanut gallery. Why should she care what a bunch of Internet trolls say? They can't stop her from spending her money. Rob is right: "When you win, you win. End of story."
personally one of the greats to play the game! amazing strategy without making a huge target for herself and can win comps at crucial times
I don’t care what any Aubry stan says..she’s my dark horse winner and is way more relatable for me at least. Michele has the ability to build relationships naturally.
Michele is a survivor legend after this season tbh
Tony definitely deserved to win, but Michele deserved second. The fact that Natalie got votes and Michele didn't get any is a travesty
Michele was like Sandra in Heroes vs Villains this season, being right about the biggest threat and people not listening to her and keeping her on the outs.
Yul's reaction when Michele and Wendell were having a little spat near him.
Michele being the only new school on Survivor that was never voted out
Honestly I was one of the people who thought Aubry shouldve won Kaoh Rong but Michele definetly proved herself on Winners at War
Michelle is probably the only winner ever who could actually have a shot in winning again, if she was given one more chance.
Feel so sad about Michelle. She deserve at least a vote on the finals. Her play on this season is great! Being out of the numbers everytime and making it to the final 3 is remarkable
3rd best player this season , prolly behind Sarah & Tony.
Sophie
@@a.jdeets5527 imo while sophie played an amazing game this season, she was sent home with an idol in her pocket while michelle went all the way on made it to the very end and won more individual immunities than sophie, while outlasting her entirely in the game.
Sarah might have used tony, but that means nothing. No skill in that.
What did Sarah do though? All she did was bring up gender crap which was not the reason at all everyone was saying Tony deserved it. He worked super hard and I think Sarah did barley anything
Lol Sophie got voted out with an idol in her pocket. That’s as bad as Sandra gameplay this season
ONE YEAR LATER AND STILL A QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!111
The funny thing is, people say she should have gotten second both times. Perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Ok lemme just say..... I LOVE HERRR!!!
Whether she's a good player or not is debatable but she's such a charismatic, funny person that I found myself rooting for her to get to the end. Would love to see a Michele 3.0, I can see her beating Amanda's 108 consecutive days
DONT JINX IT!
Whether she's a good player or not is not debatable. She's an incredible player
I enjoyed watching her play. She earned her spot in the finals. But as she told Lucina...Tony was going to win, if the made the final 3.
One of the best no vote finalists in Survivor history. The only player to never get voted out playing 2 times without getting injured.
I'd love to see michelle play on her 3rd time and win!
Legends of survivor
Andrea-received the highest votes in survivor history ..a true warrior!
Ozzy-challenge beast..physical threat
Ruzell huntz- the manipulator..a true villain
Stephanie- the only survivor on her tribe in palau..
Parvati-one of the female strongest player
Cirie-just a great player
Michelle- the only person who played more than once and not get voted out amd manage to the end..
I'd like to see another Heros vs Villains with Michele as one of the heroes.
JULY 2020. Her arc this season is great to rewatch.
Her talk with rob have her some clarity, she deserves it
3:07 “New season, who dis?” is such a fantastic quote.
Please do one for Sophie.
Super proud of Michele she killed it in a way not a lot of people can.
Michele with her 50/50 coin is like Joey Wheeler with the Time Wizard. It's more powerful in Michele's hands than someone else's.
"The winner of survivor winners at was - TONY"
On a best of Michele video...
i think it was just to show her journey was over, that she got 3rd
Underrated player! I think she really deserved to recivie at least some votes from jurors because to be an underdog in a season with all winner to be always on the bottom but to make final 3 is really not easy!
Michele is IT!
Michelle had a strong friendship/alliance coming into the game with Adam. She had to act like she was blindsided on the first vote in order for them to gain intel from both sides of the tribe.
2:04 for the haters, there are different strengths and strategies, learn to respect each one of them.
Sarah should've listened to Michele...she would never of beaten Tony
The real runner up
Michelle is my Queen. 🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍
Sameeee
It was never explained how Nick and Michele went into the merge together then were suddenly in opposite voting alliances post merge
The thing was Nick was tight with Michele and Jermey was tight with Michele but Nick and Jermey didn't like each other.
wait she did so good this season like she changed the game
So underrated.
I don’t care what people say Michelle is the best❤️❤️❤️❤️
GG Michelle - you deserved 5 votes by the jury!
I used to say she was a goat this season; however, I changed my mind about it. She definitely played just as hard as Parvati did in HvsV. Unfortunately people didn’t see through very well at the end.
she played well but not on the level of Parvati in HvV
The real 2nd place runner up
16:03 she's spilling facts and that too on PERIOD.
It’s crazy how Michelle didn’t get any votes, but almost everyone that voted for Tony said they were on the fence between Tony and Michelle and would not vote Natalie because “her torch was snuffed.” Really shows that Michelle really should’ve gotten second
Only Aadm was on the fence. The rest wanted Tony to win, period.
2:05 I completely agree with Boston Rob...it’s literally that simple.
No one:
Michele: *MY WIN WAS SUPER CONTROVERSIAL* 😨
uhhhhhh... were you around when Kaoh Rong ended?
Womp Womp yeah that’s not the point of my comment. I’m saying she always said that in the winners at war season
Her gameplay may not be deserving of 2 million dollars but man Im glad she lasted as long as she did. Glad i got to watch her all season long coz i got really sad when Parv got evicted
2016 everyone said Michelle deserves 2nd.
2020= Michelle deserved 2nd
Michelle deserved to win in Kaoh Rong, and she played a better game then Natalie.
Michelle played so amazing
A beautiful girl, people usually feel threatened by that.
"If you win, you win the end"
This seasons F3 are my favorite players of all time. Michelle definitely deserved votes, it tony wasn’t in there and sarah was, I could see her win
You missed the absolute badassery of Rob trying to intimidate Michele into admitting she knew something and her not missing a beat and playing dumb
