Fantastic 4 saw the light of day, it's literally on youtube in it's entirety. Also, it's not even the worst Fantastic 4 movie.
I kinda dispute that negative reviews somehow “confirm” it was never meant to be released. Everyone making the film aside from Corman and Eichinger thought it would get at least a small theatrical release, then live on in home video and cable TV.
The movie is unavoidably cheap and flawed, but it was made by people who gave it all they could. The film elements are stored at the AMPAS film archive with the elements of many other Corman films, so hopefully Constantin and Marvel can eventually give this a proper, remastered release.
i think its the best of the fantastic 4 we have for now

There was a woefully sensationalistic article from World of Reel that called the movie “unreleasable”, which was not only incorrect, but irresponsible.
The issue is that the financiers want a wider theatrical release than a film of its ilk is likely to get at present. They’re opposing selling the film to a streamer because they won’t get an immediate return on their investment. I’m sure it’ll get resolved eventually.

There over 10 other movies not in this video i know of that never got a release either. Iron Sky: Ark, Kung Fury 2, Gotterdammerung, Newest Nemesis movie, Blizgny Boy, Gods Behave Badly and a bunch of others.
Should include David Lee Roth's movie Crazy From The Heat.
I stay in Glasgow I remember them filming batwoman for about 3 months even walked through the sets which were the same ones used for Indiana Jones 3 months before
I saw them filming a car scene (in Manhattan) for the biopic movie about "Anita Bryant" staring Uma Thurman. Where is it ? Im not sure is they had finished the film. That was many many years ago.
There was a Martin Sheen-Alexandra Hay film that was never released. Copies of a b&w Joan Blondell dark comedy were destroyed.

Batgirl I'me not surprised. I actually saw a leaked trailer for it. It looked like a bad TV show special. The Fantastic Four was never going to be released. Thje guy who produced it saw it as a chance to make money. With films like Batman doing well. He hoped to make studios pay upto get the rights to it. If it had been 20 years later he probably would have made a fortune. Sadly he did it when studios weren't looking at making superhero films

It's an AI narrator. It hasn't learned how to pronounce certain words. You also get them treating "Warner Brothers. Discover" as the end of one sentence and the start of another because of the period in the middle.

They cant release it for 2 reasons. They deleted all copies of it. Also they got an insurance pay out for not releasing it. Basically when they started production. They took an insurance, that if the film never got released they would recieve a pay out instead. The main condition of the pay out was the film never gets released. So WBD deleted all copies to make sure this happened.

7:36 I think Stan Lee was full of shit because I remember being a little kid and seeing that preview for the fantastic four in a movie theater before another movie so why would they put together a trailer and market it to release if they never plan to release it

@@rocoe9019 Marvel learned their lesson on it. The next deal meant any future Fantastic 4 films had to get a cinema release. Its why 20th Century Fox had to release the 2015 Fantastic Four film.

No matter how crappy or overly expensive a movie ends up if it's once completed it deserves to be released and let the audience decide it's faith. Not releasing a completed movie for some corporate bullshit financial reason is the highest form of insult to everyone involved in making it, that spend their time and talent to make it happen.
It is not a bad business decision. It saves an incredible amount of money when a movie is written off as a loss and never released. It is a very wise business decision in most cases. The fans aren't the ones losing millions by releasing it. The studio is.
Back in high school, my friend had a bootleg of The Fantastic Four, and a few of us gathered to watch it. Wasn't fantastic, but wasn't bad. We had a good time with it.

100 Years - a short film written by and starring John Malkovitch and directed by Robert Rodriguez. It is a sci-fi movie set in the year 2115. It has never been released and won't be released until the actual year of 2115. That's a hundred years after it was made (2015). Currently inside a time release vault. We'll never see it in our lifetime. Hope somebody in the future enjoys it and compares the past predictions and speculations about the future with the reality.

With the Batman brave and the bold movie coming out whenever it does. There’s a good chance we see the bat family in the movie. But in the dcu Barbara might be oracle in that universe. But they could always do a prequel movie before Barbara became oracle. Although Nightwing might get his own first before the other bat family does.
There was a movie with Christian Bale as a drill sargent i think, i think it got made then never ever hesrd anyting about it again. Dont even think theres anything online about it

Whatever happened to X-Men origins Magneto? It was completed but never released. I saw it post for it on IMDB then it was taken down. It was supposed to drop a few months after Wolverine, which did well.
It was never completed. It was scrapped and re-worked into X-Men: First Class. The screenwriter for Magneto got a credit for X-Men: First Class
Having an IMDB page doesn’t necessarily mean a film has been made, or is going to be made.
Plenty of movies that were never made (as well as even more movies in development) have IMDB listings. Normally they get deleted if the film doesn’t ultimately go to production.

There was a telemovie in the early nineties covering some of the same story. It started a young Hugh Grant as Richard Neville. There are clips of it on RUclips.
Based on what I’ve read, at least two of the people depicted in Hippie Hippie Shake were very unhappy about their depiction in the film. I wouldn’t be surprised if legal threats had been made.

I don't think he'll do much better. Too much trying to be like the MCU...which isn't doing too good in recent years. I think fans are tired with the multiverse. DC Else world will probably be more successful.
