Get white electrical tape and paint the black stem white......that would hide the black really well and cover any mistakes. I don't have the patience for these but, these are my all time favorites. They're so pretty.

Great idea.. Makin some of these for my wife, for sure.. Only thing different I'm gonna do to secure it is use some of that wire around the finished glued part as well. Again tho great idea and nice job.
