The New Born ducks following / hanging on to their Mom was a priceless bit of video! I hope you got some stills of that scene. Interested in your Leo Tripod and if you also do Pano's with it? Great watching you work!!
Would you say this lens is razor sharp on the A7RV? I have the Tamron 150-500 and it was very sharp on my A7III, but it's soft on A7RV. Kinda makes me feel like I just could've gone with the A7IV or A9II, but I'd miss out on the amazing screen.
how is the stabilization of the 200-600 paired with the a7rv? on the a7iv it is not very good, I heard the a7rv received a firmware update to give it like a sync stabilization with this lens and it is very stable for handheld shooting and handheld video
Nice video and photos!!! I also have the 200-600 with the a7r5!!! I wish it had 12-14fps!!! I'm 50% landscape and 50% wildlife. I still use the a9 along with the a7r5!!!👍👍👍
Hi @mrg_1 I would not recommend the Sony a7rv for sports full time. If you are dedicated to sports I would recommend the a1if you can afford it. You can allso get a use a9 or a9ii that would be good too! They are not that expensive now but give you the speed you need for fast action! The a7r5 is slow, only 10fps!!!! The file sizes are huge!!!!! I shoot birds with it in crop mode this takes it from 61 megapixels down to 26. The 200-600 lens works well them all!!! I hope this helps!!!
Nice video. A lot of people hate on the a7rV for wildlife, given that it's not up to par for focusing compared with an a9 or a1 or z8/9 or even the canon r5 for wildlife, but most wildlife isn't fast moving at it seems like this camera probably does just fine with most situations, except for birds dive bombing, etc... Seems like you're pretty happy with the AF, just a frame rate issue for you?
Love the Osprey with mountains in back. It worked with color and B&W. Can't decide which I would prefer. Lovely video.
Good stuff. Grant Teton is paradise. Enjoy the new camera.
wow, great views! I'd really love to visit Tetons one day!

A1 is a better camera for wildlife but I would never buy it right now, wait for the ii to come out.
Very nice video! What lens cover is that on the Sony lens? I have a RolanPro but that one is looking really good.
Thanks! It's from Alphaguard, they have a whole bunch to choose from.
How far ahead do you have to apply for the filming permit? I hope they come to resolution for this overreach on our public lands.
check out the new Leofoto BV-20 or BV-30. Much better than the Manfrotto.
Yeah I like Leofoto products, good quality, fair price. Thanks for watching!
Is the wildlife video footage from recording your LCD (with an external monitor) or are you switching between photographs and video?
Switching
How many fps you get with the A7R5?
