I like the pump you use. Heading to lowes to make one up. My buddy and I have double kegerators but he always comes up to help clean mine. This time I'm on my own. Great video. Cheers
Where did you get the brass fitting? Home Depot and Lowe’s don’t have a fine thread brass fitting in that diameter. They only have coarse threaded fittings.
Good on you to show the correct orientation of the spring. I use the Intertap SS faucets on my double tap, & I’ve not seen a video til yours that shows the small end of the spring goes into the faucet.. You should also toss your disassembled faucets into the bucket of solution, & let them soak while you clean the lines. Not sure if you did that, I see the faucets were no longer on top of the keg when you spoke about “we’re getting turbulence “. I never bother disconnecting the beer line from the coupler, it’s not required. Just use a small screwdriver, or even a toothpick- push up the ball in the bottom of the coupler & leave the toothpick in place. You can now pump solution through the line, it will freely flow through, into the bucket with the ball held off it’s seat. The silicone “duckbill” in the CO2 line prevents any solution from entering the gas line. Lastly, after you’re all done, rub a tiny bit of lube onto the bottom gasket of the keg coupler. It will make reconnecting smooth, & you will never need to replace that gasket. It’s just food grade silicone lube, consistency of Vaseline, a tiny tube will last till you can’t drink beer anymore!😀
My EdgeStar never had the springs in the taps. I also took taps and couplers completely apart during my deep cleans so I could use food grade lube on all my o-rings etc... I like the auto handle return springs.
Great video reference. I have that same style pump now. Having trouble finding the right fitting though to get the hose to hook directly into the shank on the top of the beer tower. You have any insight or links to the adapter(s) you used there? My hand pump line on that end ends in a male garden hose threads and I'd like to adapt from that to the shank ending. Thanks!
Thanks for the info on the keg cleaning. I just got one so just learning.

Yeah most local stores don't carry this kind of stuff. I ordered it on Amazon. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for watching.
