I think Jalen has never been a super cerebral reader of the field like a burrow. He’s more of a 1-2 read guy and run outta there. With an elite rb hurts will look even better. Does not need to carry the team. That’s why u get players around your qb to make the game easier for them. I think he’s looked great the past 2 games. I expect him to get better the more he is under Kellen Moore as well. Go birds 🦅
The Problems with Hurts are real. Fans never want to hear that their Franchise QB has issues. They put blinders over the eyes and noise cancelling headsets over their ears. People who have played and studied football see Hurts issues will keep him from ever winning a Super Bowl. Hurts has been figured out. 1)He gets tunnel vision on AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. 2) He is comfortable throwing to the outside hash to the the sideline, and adverse to passing into the second level middle of the field. 3)Once he doesn't see Brown or Smith open on his first look, he will pull the ball down and try to run right to freelance a play. In the playoffs, Good defensive coordinators are going to take away what Hurts is comfortable with, and make him do things he is uncomfortable with. They willl double and shade Brown and smith at the snap, then contain him from bouncing outside to the right. They are going to make Hurts beat them by passing into the second level interior of the field. In the interior of the field, A QB has to throw on time and into tighter spaces. Hurts doesn't throw timing patterns well unless he knows where he is going to throw before the snap. Football Analyst see this. Fans out blindfolds on to this. And when it all comes tumbling down on Hurts , fans will make up that his issues that have been pointed out since last year were only a recent thing.
Facts and I’m an eagles fan bye another major concern for Jalen hurts game is his pocket presence there are multiple times every game where he bails on a clean pocket and misses a throw across the middle he could’ve made if he didn’t bail early he does that way too often and when he dosent bail early sometimes he holds ball too long not sensing pressure and it leads to sack fumbles his pocket pressure is horrible and a lot of plays are not excited like their supposed to due to his bad pocket presence
I do not hate Hurts, in fact, I’m an eagle fan. Looking at everything objectively he is average at best. If he could get rid of the ball quickly to an open receiver it would be great but he cannot. He can only throw successfully vs 2 types of coverage. Very limited.

Part of the reason Hurts had better numbers is because he had the ball longer than Mahomes had in that game.
