    The sad fact is … there Will ABSOLUTELY be someone (probably a lot more) who will stumble into Disneyland this year, read the banners, and think “Wow! All this is 100 years old!”

      If they go into DSNYLND, I should hope they know the history of the Man and the Mouse who started with his brother, Roy 100 years ago, 1923. DSNYLND is 1955.

    I can't believe the center spike of Disney Land within Snow White's castle was laid down this day 100 years ago by Shirley Temple of the Forbidden Eye herself (The voice of Snow White.) She's honestly a legend I can't wait for her ride Mickey & Minnie & the Magical Map to reopen this next decade!!!

      Probably because he died....It would be hilarious though how much people would be crying about Walt if he were still around considering he literally said that Disneyland would never be finished and that the attractions should be constantly changed with time. So none of the stuff currently there would be around and Epcot would have been some weird fascist utopia city

    went on the holiday haunted mansion for the first time a few weeks ago and I really don't love it as much as the og- and all I could see in the stretching room was the pixelated screen wreath on the ceiling😫😩

    Oh that was so much fun!! I learned SO much in those 40 minutes! Thank youuu for your offhand knowledge! ;) I cannot believe Disneyland is 100! Feels just like yesterday that it turned 50!! (Which is the night time firework show I’m most partial to! 😉 I haven’t seen the WDW firework show so I can’t judge upon that.) I can’t wait to watch the 100 years of wonder firework show and see if it compares to the 50th for me. 😊

    It’s crazy to me that Disney is 100 years old now. 100 years and it’s got a library full of some of the most classic animated storytelling and was the golden standard for theme parks and the inspiration for lots of theme parks. While my relationship with Disney nowadays are rocky, it’s still pretty incredible to see what it’s done in 100 years 👍

    I’ve been a mega fan of yours for years, and I think this is my favorite video you’ve put out. Maybe because you created it with a camera and editing software that both were manufactured using machines that contained recycled pieces of Walt Disney’s Carolwood Pacific Railroad that went to auction 100 years ago. But seriously, great video ❤🥰

    Jungle Cruise's 'backside of water' gets me every time, haha! happy to see it here. Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion: let me guess it broke down in front of where the singing busts usually are? (don't know how I feel about the screens, but I get it.) the fireworks shows were always a favorite of mine... OG fantasmic is probably my favorite i've seen!

      He also made a sculpture that looked just like Harrison Ford using scraps from the Carolwood Pacific railroad in his backyard. Star wars almost didn't get made because George Lucas thought that it would take 100 years to find someone who looked just like the sculpture.

    Ever been up in the pilot house of the Mark Twain Riverboat? I suppose it’s one of the better-kept Disneyland secrets. I’m reluctant to even post this comment for fear of it ending up on every “__ Things You Didn’t Know About Disneyland” type of list.
    It’s not guaranteed, but if you ask nicely before boarding the ship, there’s a small chance that the captain MIGHT allow your small group to accompany them up in the pilot house (where Steamboat Willie jams out during the finale of Fantasmic!). There’s a guest book up there for you to sign, and you’ll be able to ring the bell and pull the whistle.

    I’m so happy about Wondrous Journeys' inclusion of John Silver’s Makings of Greatness speech! It’s such a beautiful, powerful, and inspiring message that it applies to pretty much EVERYONE! That’s the first time it was ever featured in a Disney Parks show, let alone in ANY Disney Park in the entire world! That along with Treasure Planet are so criminally-underrated that they deserve to be represented more and more in almost EVERYTHING that the company runs on and licenses with!

    Just wondering, was the ‘Mark Twain’ (re)built in a dry dock, within Disneyland borders? Or was it built elsewhere and traveled up Harbor Boulevard (in manageable pieces?) and delivered to Disneyland?
