Crossing Lake Koman on a tiny ferry boat to Fierze in northeast Albania. The ride through the canyon is one of the most spectacular in the world. Walking in the remote Albanian Alps is a further highlight for nature lovers. The video was taken on a camper tour to Albania in May 2019.

Hi Stefania, the roads in Albania are normally pretty good. Some in the eastern parts are a bit bumpy and need slow driving. Worst rods are from Vau-Deja to Koman (SH25) and SH75 from Leskovik to Carshove (better take SH65 from Leskovik to Carshove). Places you should not miss are: Lake Shkoder, Ferry on Lake Koman, the Albanian Alps (Valbona Valley), Lake Ohrid, the road south of Lake Ohrid to Leskovik, Berat, Gjirokastra, the coast south of Vlora and the Roman ruins of Butrint. But all in all, you can go everywhere in Albania. It's just beautiful. Nice people, nice food, great landscape. Have fun!

the thing is, anyone can build a waterfall but it has; to be in the right place and you need to put a significant amount of arm muscle into it. they say, waterways pass and change the landscape every 10 000 years.. there are a few natural waterfalls but they are rare.
