I have a lot of respect for the Neuro Surgeon's at Mayo, Rochester.
My daughter had many Neurologists on her team. They were informative, personable and gave great quality care. She is alive because of all of them.
However, the only one I remember by name is David Kimmel.
If you get to tutor under him, pay close attention to how he communicates with families. You can learn a lot from him.
Congratulations on being one step closer to achieving your goals.

It would be really cool if you could talk about the types of things you considered when picking medical schools to apply to/and ultimately how you decided on Mayo! Thanks :)

I would appreciate if you made a video of your study methods in medical school. In addition maybe even the methods you used in undergrad to succeed. Thanks!

A researcher needs to do a study on shallow, rapid breathing especially during sleep. It may be a major cause of high blood pressure. The researcher should observe people from childhood to adulthood to correlate breathing patterns to blood pressure.

Hi!!! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is my dream to go to Mayo Clinic School of Medicine so I was wondering what you did during your time as an undergraduate in order to get accepted to Mayo? Thanks so much (please respond).

Nice vlog! I have a weird question for you: What do you think set you apart when applying to Mayo med school (other than GPA/ grades)...
I've been thinking a lot about how Mayo takes professionalism into account in its medical practice (and education), and you seem to be a well-put-together person, which is my theory as to why you were accepted. How did you show this professional attitude in your application/ do you think there was something else that contributed greatly to your acceptance that other people don't see when it comes to Mayo medical school?
Also, which undergrad did you go to, and did you take a gap year? I ask to compare the institution with mine, just to put a little perspective on my understanding of your answer to the previous question... (Sorry if these are overtly blunt questions, feel free not to answer all of them).

Hey there! Sorry for the delayed reply!
Your first question is a little tough to answer concisely via message, but I will be making a video soon that will hopefully answer those questions (about how to set yourself apart, and specifics from my app.) I did not take a gap year. I went to Rutgers.
