    I think there is some sort of typo, i dont see how an 18650 fits in this short tube , i think it is 18350? if it does take 18650 ill buy one now. extension tube?

    Nice little light! I hope that's a typo @3:40 Dropping from 2420 lumens down to 380 ANSI with the 20350 battery?! Seems rather drastic!
    I really liked the Manker E14 lll in this review. Wonderful beam pattern!

    • @nna00100
      @nna00100 4 года назад +1

      ANSI lumens is not the same as out the front lumens. He measured 2420 OTF lumens at 380 ANSI. Most floody lights have low ANSI Ratings because it is kinda like a measure of surface brightness. ANSI was made to measure how bright a projector can make an image. Look at the videos he did with more throwy lights. They have an ANSI closer to the OTF measurement. Generally the more throwy a light, Candela per Lumen, the closer the two measurements will be.

    • @craigs7181
      @craigs7181 4 года назад

      @@nna00100 Thanks, but I know what ANSI is. The discrepancy comes from the difference between the two batteries used. There's a huge difference between the two.

      Basically one stepped down at 29 seconds the other at 30 seconds. It varied, outside both batteries might do 32 seconds

      @craigs7181 4 года назад

      @@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I'm finding it hard to believe that the 20350 battery would drop to 380 lumens while the 18350 battery drops to 1670 lumens. I could see maybe 1380 lumens for the 20350, but 380!? Both batteries were fairly equal and capable of 2400+ lumens at turn on. Is the 20350 battery that crappy that the voltage and current drop is that bad? Even a 1 second difference in timing shouldn't be quite this bad. Sorry, but it just looked like a typo to me.

    I bet you the lower lumen output is because of the lowish (4000K) colour a 6500K would probably hit the specs and is more effecient.

    • @swecreations
      @swecreations Год назад

      It's because of the higher CRI, not the lower color temperature, lower color temperatures like 4000K barely make any difference to output, and 5000K is just as efficient as 6500K.

    • @chrissinclair8705
      @chrissinclair8705 Год назад

      @@swecreations Excellent point. At first I was a little disappointed with the colour temperature. But now that I've grown accustomed to it, I'm really liking the non-washed out colours and warmer light levels. Everytime now I see a 6500K, I'm like "Wow that's annoying" definately easier on the eyes with a slightly lower colour temperature.

    • @swecreations
      @swecreations Год назад

      @@chrissinclair8705 Yep, I personally always pick 3500-4500K with 70-80 CRI if given the choice, as you lose very little in terms of output but it still looks a lot better than 6500K. And it's much nicer on the eyes because of them containing much less blue light.
