Ah, Lahore! This city always fascinates me. The last time I visited Lahore was in 1969 when I was only 9 years old. I can barely remember except for the hospitality of Sardar Uncle and his family, my father's colleague. His big old house was situated somewhere in old Lahore. I can still remember the hustling and bustling of the neighborhood. Being from Bangladesh (then East Pakistan at that time) visiting Lahore, literally the whole community welcomes us with an open heart. Looking back then what mostly comes to mind is the food. Lahore is blessed with food and its people. God bless all Lahoris and all Pakistanis.

You come bck for another visit. However, in my case (a pukka Lahoria) would not forgive Sharifs family for a total degradation of Lahore in the name of modernity. The housing scheme around Lahore had almost become ghettos. There is no concept of side streets, zoning, and easy conversion of homes into small shopping centre including the disorganised and disoriented traffic pattern, Why every Lahori needs to buy more than one car and at least few motorcycles and air conditioner in every room?

Beautiful.. the presentation style is excellent. As an Indian, I thank you for showing us businesses of Indians who were settled at Lahore before partition. These things might be old but they hold relevance. No matter where we are in the world, history is a thing that should not be forgotten. Also through your videos you put a light on some good common citizens of pakistan, who are going about their daily lives and such. It's very insightful.
If you were there during tumultuous time like your ancestors you would believe that it was right decision. The genocide of Muslims was so much (even today in India) that it was wise decision to have separate country.

I SPENT 40 YEARS OF MY LIFE SEEING THIS BUILDING EVERYDAY WHILE GOING TO SCHOOL IN CHILDHOOD AND STUDIED AT GOVT MISSION HIGH SCHOOL RANG MAHAL . I LOVE LAHORE IS IN MY BLOOD .
This building had a history and i myself didn't know that . While making a v log on Baagh Arun Dev the name Gobind Ram Kahan Chand struck me and i was in an awe of the building.

Mumbai, March 3: Karachi Bakery in Mumbai's suburban Bandra has been closed. The development came months after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers objected to its "Pakistani" name. Only the Bandra outlet of the bakery was closed. The outlet was part of the Hyderabad-based chain. MNS leader Haji Saif Shaikh claimed that the outlet was closed after protests on its name "Karachi".
