Beautiful work. I’ve found that gently marring lower parts of the trunk with a knife can generate back budding. Along with the massive amounts of pruning you’ve done here I’m sure you’ll get lots of back budding in order to create an even thicker lower trunk to get an even better taper, well done!

Well..gently scarring the lower part of trunk usually produce that rough elephant skin like texture, for which this plant is known as elephant Bush plant...The lower part of trunk of jade produce multiple buds, by default, whether u scar it or not

@@sujeetbrahma4801 Oh ok, I thought it was called elephant bush because it makes up a large part of the elephants’ diet in Africa. I’ve had better success with buds far down the trunk with severe pruning, but also with marring which created buds below the cut points. Thanks for the info!

Generally copper and aluminium wires are used and the one I used in video is coated aluminium wire (as it’s softer to use)
