It's wild knocked loose caused such a ruckus lol... Slipknot played the Heretic Anthem on Conan Obrien way back in the day when Iowa dropped. It was nuts!
For those wondering what Phil says at the beginning is “Rehtaf fo Seil Regtaf fo eht Ssyba” “Ew emoc morf woleb” “Nepo ruoy seye gnik Reficul” Redrum meht lla” & it reversed is “Father of Lies Father of the Abyss” “We come from Below” “Open your Eyes King Lucifer” “Murder Them All”
This is what I was thinking too! He says that song wasn't even their heaviest. I can only imagine what the album is gonna be like. We're just getting teasers of it. I haven't been this pumped for a deathcore album in awhile.
I really enjoy how melodic visceral was. I liked it more than this new one even though this ones insane. Just two different styles and theyre both amazing.
the tuning drop for the final breakdown to drop G is literally the cherry on top. the whole song is massive and violently heavy, then they decide to open up a sonic wormhole to finish things off.
Whatever noises they are, they made my dog give me a death stare. She has been locked onto me from the living room for 3 minutes straight and I don't know what to do
I havent seen them live since the This is Exile tour. When Phil and the band were just chillin out front with everyone still..I'm gonna have to go to this tour.
whitechapel really is one of those bands that gets better and better. seen them 3 times and i wasn't that big of a whitechapel fan at those times, but seeing them live made me appreciate them more and more each time. So dope.
I hope the rest of the album is this brutal. It’s also cool to see the OG band logo on the album art. That being said, I wouldn’t mind more of Phil’s cleans in here. He’s got a beautiful voice when he wants to lol. Regardless the kings of deathcore are back. 🙌
I put down my preorder of the vinyl right after listening to this single for the first time 🤟 I don't know about the rest of you guys, but it always puts a huge smile on my face when the OG's brings the goods like this. Also, Phil, dude, what a beast! Amazing vocals! ❤
They def got that disco beat from Sanguisugabogg. Since they were also on tour together, they almost undoubtedly got inspired by Cody's insane drumming.
Brandon is doing this band FAVORS! I loved everything Navene K and Rüdi did with them, The Valley is by far my favorite album of theirs so far… but Brandon is KILLING IT in WC 😮💨
One of the things I think is really cool and that I don't see a lot of people talking about is that if you look at the lyrics, Phil referenced almost every song from This Is Exile.
Nah the drums on this track are absolutely devastating. The whole song feels powerful, especially with Phil summoning hell, but the drums make it feel so much more impactful. So damn good. I'm beyond stoked for the 7th of March
I never really gotten into Whitechapel earlier. Really liked this one. I'm a big Lorna Shore fan and as with Will I prefer the mids in the vocals with lows and highs as spice on top. Liked when there was a cool guitar line under the vocals. Gonna see them live with Lorna Shore headlining at a festival this summer.
Did you ever listen to Wretched out of NC ? Exodus, beyond the gate, and cannibal albums are sick. Went to school with their drummer. Also, Within the Ruins needs more love
I like how we, again, get to see a lot of Phil in the modern whitechapel. He mentioned inspiration from southern rap in Bloodsoaked Symphony and you get to see it again here. Also callback to an era of deathcore that was punishing and unrelenting which Suicide Silence really brought to the mainstream which I know was a huge influence for Phil and whitechapel from when he was on Garza's show. I feel like this album is going to be a "best of" in terms of cultivating the best sound whitechapel has offered over the years with continued refinement. They know what we love from everything past, and now it's time to bring us a buffet of it.
Based off the description of the original video it seams like this album is gonna be a concept album telling the story of some fucked up cult, and I'm so here for it
How much would it take for you to cover a song? Cuz you've got to do Born to Lead by Falling in Reverse. The solo is very dragony, it has deserved more attention since the day it released, and I'd love to see if you can even do the solo.
My favorite part of this video was where Nik went "WhOa DuuUuDE!! Oh My GoD DuDE!! DiD yOu HeAr ThAt DudE WhOaAaaaA" I'm gonna share this video with all of my relatives.
I'm a traditionalist when it comes to death metal, and really never liked the deathcore and it's mostly the hardcore elements that I don't like except the breakdowns. This though, is very interesting. Has WhiteChapel always been this technical and melodic? I think I really dig this song. The breakdowns in deathcore are always fun to listen to. This one in this song was heavy.
I always said if I had to start a metal band from scratch and could pick any one person from history to start it with, it would be Phil Bozeman. What the fuck can that dude NOT do? You can put him with any metal style and he'll turn it to fucking gold.
Guaranteed at some point of time somebody walked up to the entrance of that cave and thought "Hell is definitely inside this cave" and then most likely ran away at full speed.... 😂😂
Insane track from the TN bois. The ending breakdown of this song is very reminiscent to To the Hellfire breakdown, I noticed. Not saying they copied or anything. Just sounds kinda like it. Lol
Phil randomly appearing in the chat to shit on his own song is legendary
and you're not gonna drop a timestamp for that????

I love me some Alyssa but that's nothing short of trolling 😂
Arch Enemy if it was good or what
Someone also said, "slipknot vibes." I love slipknot, but wtf 😂
People since 2021: Will Ramos is the most brutal deathcore vocalist on Earth!
Phil: Wtf?
He had to come back and remind everyone who the GOAT is!!!
the vocalist of disembodied tyrant is pretty sick too
Cj McCreery
A wake in providence singer is beast too!
@@JorgeMcReign29 Cj and Phil needs to collab asap!
When whitechapel is in the cave you know it’s going to be a banger
Not to mention they set a real person on fire at the end 🔥😈
They’re getting mileage out of that cave. 😂
Gives a new meaning to caveman riffs doesn't it?
I read "it's going to be a burger" lmao I'm hungry

phil heard the breakdown for to the hellfire and said. "Alright, my turn"

@corrupted_realm welcome to the internet. First time here?
Phil’s highs have improved massively. Almost as impressive as his lows.
This could possibly be the best deathcore album in a decade. Can not wait.
Like ive said. Phil had to tell will, cj, and alex to go to thier rooms while he reminds everyone who the king of deathcore is.
remember when you had phil on the phone and he said "visceral retch is not that interesting actually", yea now i know what he meant
A quote from a post I saw:
“Last album: who hurt Phil?
This upcoming album: Who is Phil going to hurt?”
-Unknown.
These thumbnails are getting out of hand 😂
Phil reminded everyone why he’s Daddy Deathcore
Seeing them with Brand of Sacrifice and 200 Stab Wounds later in the spring. Man it's gonna be a banging concert
Shit... why do I have to go to a Motionless in White Concert to see Brand of Sacrifice? Why can't we get Whitechapel, too?
Phil Bozeman: I can do clean singing and butt rock, but also I am the king of Deathcore scream.
New psycho-frame dropped today too. So many bangers
New PSYCHO-FRAME is insane!
As a former prog enthusiast turned Corekid, i would like to thank Whitechapel and Philly B for killing me.
His vocals are so good at certain points you can’t even tell it’s him, it’s like Phil Bozeman transcended
"How heavy do you want this track to be?
Whitechapel: "Yes"
Im lucky enough to live 40 minutes from Knoxville and see them every year for their Christmas show. Love these guys 🤘
These two singles bring new meaning to the term "Caveman riffs".
Yooo imagine we get a "how to White Chapel" video with a surprise guest vocalist Phil?!
the tuning drop for the final breakdown to drop G is literally the cherry on top. the whole song is massive and violently heavy, then they decide to open up a sonic wormhole to finish things off.
Phil said, " To the Hellfire? Weak, hold my beer"
''song is trash. next.'' -dude who sang the song
Whatever noises they are, they made my dog give me a death stare. She has been locked onto me from the living room for 3 minutes straight and I don't know what to do
Present your dog more fun metal things. Your dog will get used to them. My dog did.
Phil one of the few vocalists where it’s like his voice is one of the instruments
Mike Patton has entered the chat
I need this album to drop so I can do a back to back listen with "This Is Exile"...
This album is gonna absolutely WRECK. I cannot even fathom how excited I am for the return of these beasts
I don't even think this is a return, this is one of the heaviest things the band have ever released
Whitechapel setting the bar again. 🤘
Remember when Phil said A Visceral Retch wasn't the heaviest song? I believe him now.
I havent seen them live since the This is Exile tour. When Phil and the band were just chillin out front with everyone still..I'm gonna have to go to this tour.

This song feels like every single metal genre colliding together
I didn't notice the inhale at 1:23 the first time I heard this song. Pretty sick.
2025 is set to be crazy🎉
Whitechapel got tired of all the kids saying they weren't the kings of deathcore and Phil said "hold my saw blade"
Hahahaha Nick, your face at 5:57 is literally everything that's needed to describe this song 😅😅😅
Imagine feat with Alex Terrible

no
Also, Court of Owls was a band out of Tennessee we used to play with that was like… djentcore?? Give a listen. Does not disappoint
He referenced "Farher of Lies" in there. Banger
He referenced almost every song off This is Exile
Whitechapel made Metal scary again c:

Alex Rudinger has been oke of my favorite drummers for years. Always so consistent and clean with blazing fast technicality
Rüdinger is not their drummer anymore. It's Brandon Zackey now🤘🏻
They def got that disco beat from Sanguisugabogg. Since they were also on tour together, they almost undoubtedly got inspired by Cody's insane drumming.

Enterprise Earth drummer was the best thing that could've happened. Rudinger and Koperweis were baller options, but this feels RIGHT.

Phil has always said he listens to a lot of hip hop and I LOVE when he brings that flow into the songs. Just like Saw Is The Law for example.
Did you ever listen to Wretched out of NC ? Exodus, beyond the gate, and cannibal albums are sick. Went to school with their drummer.

Fvck i love this sound, it almost have a Deathgrind vibe, we need more punk riffs with a lot of blast beats

the moment you can tell a word from one another in a whitechapel song: 😮

A Visceral Retch and this new song on the same album… it’s gonna be fucking awesome
Unlike other heavy stuff that's come out, this actually feels like a song
people are gonna die in the pit at the end of this song ... just imagine the walls
I love Nik being like... "is this disgusting?"... and then realizing that yeah.. it's disgusting.
