  • When I set out to explore the Santa Cruz mountains near San Fransisco, I expected to find nice hikes and views, but not this. After seeing a sign about a log cabin camp, and a little googling, I found out I had stumbled on something completely different. Join me as I walk through time and examine a compound most San Fransiscans don’t know about.

The funny thing is this wasn’t the only interesting place I discovered in the Santa Cruz mountains, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon.

Definitely not allowed to enter the buildings and there is security, I didn't know this until the kind security personnel let me know and I left

A juvenile offender facility in California without bars and high fences? Those were happier times.
