  • If you have Pastor Bohr's original study on the seven trumpets, this is his second expanded edition.
There are many different interpretations of the seven trumpets both within and without the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The trumpet series is one of the most difficult to interpret in the book of Revelation.
Bizarre symbols and strange actions permeate the series. How can we make sense out of what appears to be impossible to decode?
In this series, Pastor Bohr suggests a contextual approach that centers on the great controversy between good and evil. Using the principle that Scripture is its own interpreter, Pastor Bohr offers an interpretation that makes sense and appeals to the unimpassioned reason.

This is excellent material that pulls together chapter 9 with 11-18. When it is depicted as the Turks it sits alone. What I am hearing in this presentation is a repeat and enlarge, creating a tapestry that glorifies God and exposes the enemy.

It is beautiful to see how the Bible is it's own interpreter. All the texts taken together weave such an impressive and important story! The truths of the Bible are always new.

These shows us that the heaven rule, these should humble us, for God is in control all. We need to trust IN HIM! 🙏

About five years ago, my pastor taught us this same message. I was confused and really didn’t understand. Thank you Stephen for a clearer explanation of this teaching.

David Inchcliff I see your point but please consider this. What is you definition of new truths. Jesus said I come quickly. By our standards more than two thousand years have passed. Does that make Jesus a liar. Certainly not. I haven’t read anything that Ellen G. White has written. I didn’t join her church. I joined the church that in my opinion, matches the Bible the best. My first SDA pastor made it very clear, we as SDA members take the word of God as the supreme instruction. Any writings from Ellen are always secondary to Gods word. And all our instruction comes come the official canonized Bible. Lastly...... if it’s in the Bible we want it, if it’s not in the Bible we don’t want it. Going back to my original message point; when I first heard this message at my church, it was a Bible Study, during the middle of the week. And not a sermon, on the Sabbath. All Sabbath teaching are from one of two sources. One the Bible, or two the quarterly.

David Inchcliff the Bible gives two different descriptions for prophet. Just like we have two descriptions of Blasphemy. Ellen did meet that Description to be considered a prophet. Yes I am a proud member of SDA. OBTW: The book of Revelations, doesn’t exists. I was sure it didn’t, but I checked my Bible, and I was right.

Pastor Bohr I really enjoy all your work. Although you don't know me, I know you well for I spend much time in your company. I listened to you when I travel, are alone and every night before bed. This does not replace the study of Gods Word. I also enjoy and learn much from EGW Writings. Thus said, I do not understand why you would leave out both time factors in both the 5th and 6th seal to fit the French Revolution. It does have its place in Daniel 11, but I am not sure it fits the trumpets. The churches is the history of God's people, the seals what affliction happened to them and the trumpets is the history what happened to those who rejects the witness of Gods remnant. The time frame of 5 months or 150 days, if we keep to principle of prophecy is 150 years the same with the 6th seal- one hour and day, one month and one year. 14 days+ 1 year + 30 years, + 360 =391 years, 14 days. In both the seals you left it out to make the French Revolution fit. I am confused. Normally the trumpet does not harm the people of God. Harm not the grass and the trees or any one that has the seal of God. Thus was the instruction given.. How can the witnesses been killed which is surely the people of God. Can we have an open dialogue about this?

Pastor Bohr you also jump between the trumpets and the plagues. Trumpets are a third and as soon as you state whole world we are then in the plagues in the trumpet series. Yes the end of days will be bloody, the poor against the rich but this is the trumpets?

    Keep thecommandment
Dr. Hoffman: As a mature Christian, have You a special word for young people of these days?
H.I.M.: On this occasion I address all those within Our Empire. Our Christianity is not restricted to a given church and I stress above all that We do not wish to make distinctions. My advice to all is to fulfil the Ten Commandments. You are aware of the contents of the Ten Commandments and can elaborate on it. If the nation for which I am the Emperor follows and accepts this, since its also what I accept and follow, I would believe our country is not only historically Christian but also actively Christian.
