In an STG graft from 4th to 6th months what is the weight that you consider safe but enought to train the muscle in a full ROM leg extension exercise with "sand weight" (I don't know the exact name, I'm not native eng speaker) in and adult not sedentary male? I'm a Physical Therapist. I'd say about 10 lbs, 10r x 3-4s, twice per week (not the only exercise, including lunges, step up, etc..) but I'm not too keen in ACLS rehab. Best to all of you.
What about open chain from 20-0, a week and half post op? Zero weight. I just had ACLR using Patellar and PET procedure (prior tears). One of the first exercises my PT gave me was lying on a table with a foam roller under my knee. With no weight, I'm supposed to try getting full extension. Is this safe to do?
