Lynn, I’ll never get tired of watching the “walk of fame”! Love the little ones and how attentive the ewes are. Also you guys are so gentle and and slow with unsure ewes 7:50. It’s lovely to watch. 🐑💛 I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the little girl learns to latch on to the sweet ewe with loads of milk.🤞Buddy is such a ham following you around and then hurrying back to the house. 😊🐈
Bless your heart!❤ The lamb needing so much help, being a single at that, would be very frustrating!!! Thank you for sharing your days!!! Rest when you can and stay safe!!!❤🙏
Yes the ones who are young at heart. It is very healthy for the ewes to have good physical exercise like that a couple of days after birth. Helps the organs get back in position and works the abdominal muscles, ligaments etc. For me it is pure joy seeing a ewe having fun with her lamb(S).
I love it! BUDDY!!!!! He's got the right idea, stay in the warm house, where he doesn't have to do anything for food, water and love!!! Buddy my man!❤❤❤
I could never get tired of seeing new life come into the world! I love it!!!! Love it!!!! Love sheep!!! I wish i could have sheep again, Thanks for bringing us along in your everyday life!🥰❤❤❤
For most it is a sanctuary where they can rest and focus on their lambs but for first-timers it can be scary for the first few hours as they adjust to a new space and new lamb 🙂
@@EwetopiaFarms I follow an LA animal rescue operation and I’m always interested when they finally succeed in trapping a frightened dog. It’s in the wire crate, the doors go down and… relax. The dog is still cautious and nervous because everything is new and it doesn’t know what’s going to happen next, but at least the cage is keeping the people out. For now, the dog knows it’s safe enough and can stop defending itself and put a little energy into being curious instead. On pasture ewes would take space for themselves and their newborns but they seem to recognize that having bars to keep other ewes away works too. Cages are interesting. I’m sure you have many thoughts on them-for people too.
Forgot to comment on yesterdays video but that lamb that you asked for a name should be called Madison, Maddy for short cause you're gonna fall madly in love with her.
Good morning Arnie and Lynn. I agree the sun has been a foreign object. I bet the moms think run babies and tire yourself out 😂😂 Lynn your tough love is still pretty gentle. I love how the moms talk to their lambs. You guys must be pleased with Knockouts babies. Very pretty. Buddy is so loving his life of luxury and we love him too. Another gorgeous baby day. Big big hugs to you both. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉😉❤️❤️❤️
What’s a “proud lamb”? One who sticks up out of the crowd? Who holds its head high? Sorry about the lamb with nipple confusion (as they say in the human breastfeeding biz). Newborn humans who are having trouble with latching on in the beginning are sometimes tube fed instead of bottle fed until they get the hang of it.
It is nipple confusion so you have to make an executive decision. In our experience, if you want a lamb to suck, a bottle is best despite the risk of nipple confusion. Constant tune feeding can cause throat irritation if done for days and they can lose ability to suck altogether.
I was thinking that you should give a name to that ewe that is willing to adopt lambs. I'm going to think of her as Bonnie. Today would have been my mom's birthday, but I lost her 2 years ago. I was staying with her and caring for her when I found your channel. It became a very lovely comforting thing for me while circumstances were so tough. My mom was the most loving, caring mother you could ever imagine. She was Bonnie, and like her name, she was lovely through and through.
do you have tips on how often you give minerals for the sheep ? and how much per sheep ? or maybe if you talk about it in your next video just for my information. You channel is such informative for any person who would want to learn about the basics. I hope to start a sheep farm myself.
We have free choice minerals in every barn in those white tube on the walls. Stay with us or watch our older videos and you will see them practically every day 🙂
Hope that little lamb figures out how to suckle on mom! Do you ever have to "top " lambs off but then their mom ends up making enough milk to bc keep them fed?
@@EwetopiaFarms well HalleluYah ! I am out checking and the little dummy is nursing off the engorged side! I've tried for 6 hours today to milk her or get him to nurse . 😅 farmers should be millionaires. I don't know how you and Arnie do it. My daughter and I really appreciate all you guys share
Never will I ever tire of the lamb walk
I look forward to the walk of fame everyday! ❤
Your Dorset lambs have beautiful wooly legs.

Morning! Seeing that mom love all the lambs warms my heart. Stay warm this weekend.

Maybe use a tube rather than a bottle on the lambs needing supplementation on ewes with large nipples. It might help them to adjust to mom's nipples.
I love the way the lambs inspire the ewes to run around too!

@@EwetopiaFarmsYou are welcome!
First video I watch in the mornings
Ooh, I hadn’t thought of being in a jug as being a new and scary experience for a ewe. But of course it is.
