assalamu alikm, need your support,
in case of upright sprinklers in expose area (no ceiling)
the TOP OF SPRINKLER FROM ROOF SLAB = 6CM
TOP OF CABLE TRAY TOP FROM ROOF SLAB = 12CM
GAP BETWEEN CABLE TRAY & SPRINKLER 12-15CM
in this case which NFPA Code will apply & is it acceptable

As I know that NFPA suggest minimum 1" from roof slab to sprinkler but not limited maximum, It means whatever maximum distance is acceptable. Gap between cable tray and sprinkler depends on sprinkler coverage, simply sprinkler water shall not shower over cable tray.
