The new Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved - shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The new Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top seen here in a Classic White finish from the new Custom Colors series has a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top and a mahogany neck with a rounded, 50s Vintage profile with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s is equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop™ capacitors. These new Les Paul guitars are now available in vivid custom colors, and a hardshell case completes the package, so you're ready to gig, tour and travel with your new Gibson Les Paul guitar!

Honestly all the colors offered are beautiful. Ive always wanted a white LP without it being a custom, but then i saw the Translucent Fuschia and the Cherry red one and just lost it. Love what Gibson did with these.🤟

I didn't notice the white as much when the new colors got introduced, but it grew on me something fierce! I'm definitely picking one up in the 1950s version as soon as my local dealer has one in stock.
