It was very interesting to learn more about this curriculum from Blossom and Root. I've never been able to get much information on it. I am a very big fan of repetition during the early years of learning, and I'm definitely a Mr. Rogers fan, haha!
Thank you Rachel for watching! Yes I agree I haven’t found many reviews on B&R either. I feel it’s a good base to start with and change it to be your own. 💜 I feel every homeschooling momma is a fan of Mr. Rogers💜💜💜
You can make a playlist! You have to do it before you click on the video. So its only able to be done on the search page. Just click the upper right button with the lines and click add to playlist.
We did Vol. 1 last year and focused a lot more on the artist and composer studies and literature. This year with Vol. 2, we’re skipping those sections (I’ll be replacing with our own based on what’s available from the library and to follow current interests) and doing B&R reading/writing, maths, STEM, kitchen, and nature study instead. It’s really easy to use it as a base or a supplement. We’re also using The Children’s Forest book and Pinterest.
Thank you! Yes, I agree! I love that it’s easy to use as a base and you can change it to fit what works for your family. I am also going to continue with this curriculum as my little ones get older but I feel these early years are important to get used to the way the curriculum works. I need to look up The Children’s Forest Book! That sounds really great! 💜💜
Art museums re great! Homeschooling art classes d” be great! Make Plato from stratch! Find music with ASL! Have them talk to kids their age & adults who deaf that use it! My girl cousin almost 30 became deaf at 18.
It sounds great!
This curriculum sounds beautiful, I love how you said there’s one main book a week to focus on. RUclips read aloud books are a wonderful resource!
