Back before the internet, when I was a broke kid, I found a scratched up copy of Green Mind in a parking lot. I walked home and listened to the whole thing. I'm glad a very cool person lost their Dinosaur Jr CD.

This is such a hopeful Lou song. The fact he's playing it with Dinosaur makes it feel like the world's okay.
Every Dinosaur Jr album needs a couple of great Lou songs
I think "Your Weather" is absolutely stunning. Love J. too of course ("See You"), but holy crap their recent stuff has just been so shockingly good.

Since they've been back together I've felt their best songs are the ones Lou writes.
Lou has one of the most beautiful, soothing and relaxing voices I've ever heard (as much as J ofc)

that was the first thing , i saw and confused me...a little...Lou was a former Guitar player. must be the reason for his unique style to treat an Instrument like he does..On stage he´s a weirdo who beats and pulls the strings and the next second, it seems he has a very special relationship to his Instrmts..sorry, my english speaking(tiping) knowledge isnot perfect

Lou has said he gets nervous doing solos and prefers J do them.
I love this band. More than all other bands. And this song is incredible. Wow.

@@thatONEmachine yes for sure, but this is the price J pays for Lou staying in the band. No other bass player has ever managed to supply the same tones and power.

Lou Barlow is masterful at writing these types of songs - simple, melodic, and inspired. Looking forward to the new album.
I know right? The guy still surprises me with his ability to find melodies and moods he hasn’t used before.
Lou (and his family's) quirky creative side during this long slow grind of a pandemic has been a welcome bright spot. Can't wait for this record 🙏
The behind-the-beat drumming here makes the song feel like you're behind and chasing the clock, and "there's no time to waste". Brilliant.

Song fits Lou's voice really well. I can hear a bit of sadness mixed with hopefulness in this song. Things are gonna get better, I'm sure.

The Dr J songs where Lou sings are always the best ones. Having said that, I fucking love J 's solos even if he's playing the bass guitar, and Murph's snare even if he's playing a ballad song

Hopefully devoted concert junkie here. Bought my first concert ticket in over a year a couple of weeks ago...Dino Jr. in Austin 9/23. Gonna drive down from the Big D and attend with friends I haven't seen in over a year now. Probably gonna bust out crying during the first few songs. Great video. Love you guys!!!🥲

having lou to be the one to sing the first single feels right. plus, i like the fact that the video is shot in a backyard. it feels right and simple. videos don't have to be this big thing. queen shot a couple of videos at roger taylor's backyard. it probably saved them money to do 2 videos that day.
"It feels right" is the best way I can think of describing this song. I just feel better after listening to it... Six times.

This looks like it was recorded with a phone which gives it a more homemade/casual feeling that accompanies well the song.

When I was a kid in the 80's the 60's/70's were my parent's jam.. It used to make me laugh.. Thought it was corny. Now I feel them... SO MUCH.

Just read in Mojo magazine that both J and Lou thinks that 'you're living all over me' is the bands masterwork. I have a feeling that new album could be something special , this song is superb
my older bro got without a sound on cd when it came out, I mostly liked feel the pain only. 8 years later my then gf's roommate took me aside for serious listening of green mind on CD which sparked my enthusiasm. sebadoh was another later dig, j mascis solo - diamonds in my collection!
