"From Codes to Themes" takes participants through an introductory process of coding, categorizing, and themeing a brief set of qualitative data related to happiness. Subtopics include in vivo coding, analytic memoing, phenomenology, theoretical constructs, and varieties of analytic outcomes.
Johnny Saldaña is Professor Emeritus of Arizona State University's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and the author of research methods titles such as The Coding Manual for Qualitative Researchers and Developing Theory Through Qualitative Inquiry. His qualitative data analysis methods works have been cited and referenced in more than 37,000 research studies conducted in over 135 countries.
