Galdar is a small town of about 25,000 inhabitants, located about twenty kilometers northwest of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. Centuries old, it was once the capital of the island. The Galdar region still has some vestiges of pre-Hispanic civilization and several archaeological sites that make it a particularly interesting place to visit.
