Hello! cinema room looks great...I think the beanbag sofa is fab. On the cushion front John Lewis do some great colour schemes you should definitely go for lilacs and lavender type colours and textures.🤍💜🖤😀

The lamp in your sitting/living room looks absolutely lovely, but if you decide you want colour, yes, you can paint it. Your house is beautiful Kerry and it reflects who you are. I invested in antique Yew furniture which costs me a fortune but now, I don't know if its the right thing for our new house (retirement flat). Thank you for sharing xxx
I would suggest some lilac cushions and one or two pattered cushions with lilac in them for the living room. Definitely go for a darker lampshade there too, maybe more of a purple. Love the cinema/playroom too.
I had never thought of using the purple tones in the flowers and bringing them into cushions on the sofa until I was chatting g on camera in this video! I like the idea :) you see.. just when you think you are getting there with your home, there is always something else to add!! Hehe xxx
Great to hear about Peterborough, our grandson plays for under @9s for Peterborough. He is in his last year of his training. So hope he gets a place after. His life is football. Your rooms looks really nice. Good choice. I think the purples would bring the room to life, maybe then your lamp,shade would be also fine to,change.

I think green incorporated into the cushions so it still follows your house color palette, but it also adds another interesting dimension

When our children outgrew the playroom we called it the family room, so had family room with Tv in it and then the sitting room with TV in it

I would keep the shade thats on there for the summer then buy a warmer colour to change in winter...
